I'd be more than happy to see the guy play if he were in Winnipeg.
Although I do remember he was in Winnipeg last year or the year before (time flys) on a Wednesday night at TYC and there were maybe 12 people there. I think more than half the people there were from Toronto! Lots of free beer from the Kokanee girls for the people who were there..

Personally I enjoy John 00 Fleming's music even more than Armin's. Check out his work with the Digital Blond called "The Main Voyage" and "Tour De Trance" ... that stuff is tight!

Yes, I think there will be a lot of people more interested in seeing John "OO" than AVB in this city. Has anyone else heard his most recent mix cd, "Whitelabel Republic"? I bought it from HMV, no need to order it online. It's AMAZING, dark psy-trance that remains interesting and intense through disk one and two.

Besdies, JOOF is going to be playing at an actual party, and Armin is playing in a club. A party can build a lot more excitement.

I get waaaay more excited about a club show than a stinky rave. I like to drink. I like to not worry about the cops shutting it down. I like to not see 14 yr old poo-nanny. I like to party with friends who won't go to stinky raves. And does anyone else notice that the BO situation is always much more under control at the club?

I'm waaay more excited to see AVB, him playing in a club makes it that more sweeter.

For the most part it is, but you know that guy that is ALWAYS at Library and he's ALWAYS UBER wrecked? And he always has glow sticks and he dances in front of the mirror in the basement? Oh man, he has THE WORST BO EVER!!!!!! And he waves it around for everyone to smell!!!!
One of my buddies even asked him to step back a little bit to give us some breathing room cuz he was so stinky and he said that it wasn't him, it was someone else..Blah! Does this someone else live under your armpits and have they been dead for 5 months? Cuz that's what it smells like.
