Would i see him if he came? For sure, I really want PVD to come back to TO.

However, at the same time, one has to ask 'why he isnt coming here?'. He has many fans in Toronto and you know what, there is nothing wrong with people being disappointed/upset with the fact that he hasnt come here in so long. Not only that, he hasnt even mentioned any kind of reason why he isnt coming/or hasnt been here in so long.

I'm not gonna travel just to see a DJ. Other DJs come here more than once a year, and if he doesnt want to come at all, its fine by me as well. He's simply going to lose fans because of it, and if thats fine by him, thats all that matters.

He has been back to NA enough times since his last visit, so if he's not coming back, he should explain why.

couldn't have said that better myself

I saw him in 2004 when he came to the Guvernment. It was a short set, only 2 hours or so, but it was fantastic. I'd be happy if he came back. However, like other DJ's, I'd like to listen to some of his recent sets prior to his arrival. I don't go to see big name DJ's that often, but from their sets, the style can change drastically. (Like when Tiesto is on a ISoS tour).

I'm sure it's all business, as to why he hasn't come back.

2 hours is short...for PvD to drop a wicked set give him a 6 hour set in the KH at least...the last KH set was awesome, one or two tracks that didn't really flow but they were crowd favs...

Let's spam his website. Eh? Ehhh?

I was satisfied. That may be more likely a result of the fact that I had to go to work the next day at nine and he finished at 4am and I had to be at work at 9am. However, Mark Oliver's set following PVD's was simply amazing. I've only seen Mark perform after another DJ two times(Marco V, and PVD), and both times, he really seems to raise his game.

For my money, he's still the best mainstream trance DJ in the world.

That's based on my attending an event he DJ'ed in December of last year (not too long ago).

01? wasn't it 99/00? that's when I saw him first at the warehouse

Nope, was 01, in Febuary, then later on that year was the Guv 5 year Anniversary when I saw him again in the Guv mainroom. He dropped a LOT of PoD stuff and for an Angel as an encore, it was awesome. (4 days before that I caught Tiesto @ KH, that was when they did the reno's...).

I have nothing against Tiesto. I just think he represents something totally different than PVD.

People can believe me or not....Ive got about 2 hours of video from that night to prove it.

nice sig man who says PVD doesn't get into his music ha ha ?

I doubt that, if guys like Johan Gielen, Above and Beyond, Marco V can fill the place Paul van Dyk for sure would, especially after not being here in a while and becoming #1 Dj by Dj Mag.

That's true Mags, but honestly he hasn't been that great in awhile. Even Armin, A&B, Markuz have been spinning better sets than him. Toronto only demands the very best out of its trance

Yes, it's too bad that Armin and Markus Schulz don't even play real, honest to goodness trance, isn't it?

Your never going to find "honest to goodness trance" with those big name djs. Try Mike Koglin, Pulser, Matt Darey, Nu-Nrg, Rank 1 and so forth.
