15 more minutes till game time ..
i think the clips will pull this one out, and force a game 7 in my opinion. corey maggette is going to be the X factor tonight.
yawn. i cant believe the heat won. srly.
yeah i cant fuckin stand terry...i saw finley in the end of the game complaining about terry throwing him a fist..and he also likes to push ginobli around..ive seen it a couple of times.
It will be tough for the spurs for game 6. We can pull it..but with Terry out, maybe they will get energized and win like the suns won for game 6
Suns and Clips going to a Game 7
second series in a row that Suns go the distance against an LA team
everybody likes to push Manu around. Maybe b/c he runs [charges
] in so much, but probably just b/c he's white.
This Terry situation is just another outcome of the NBA that has turned its back on me.
Its so hard for me to make a list of star players that I really admire, Tim Duncan, Lebron, maybe KG, Wade, and a few others.
Its so much easier to make a list of the jackass superstars. I think of Shaq throwing a punch at Brad Miller, Ron Artest flicking off some fans and a coach, Ron Artest at the Palace, Rasheed Wallace following a ref to his car after a game to threaten him, Robert Horry biting Jerry Stackhouse, the Kobe sex thing, Sprewell choking his coach, Kidd beating his wife...
I don't like todays game either. People tell me the NBA hasn't changed I've changed, but watch a classic from the early 90s or 80s. Its amazing to see players not arguing with the refs. Thats pretty much the only difference other than the style, but it is a HUGE difference.
Also I get the feeling now that coaches have no power over their players, and its the players who are running the league. Maybe this is why its so terrible when the players act up - b/c theres no authority present to shutem down. Coaches in the NBA seem invisible as compared to football or managers in baseball.
baaaaaaah, still playing and loving my Sega NBA Jam has trapped me in the 90s.

OK I'm done ranting. Go Spurs. I always liked Michael Finley.
Don't we need seperate forums for Americans and Europeans?

The Dallas/San Antonio-series is great, it's such a shame that they already meet in the conference semi-finals.
Maybe the NBA should think about the seeding system again. Where are those number 3 seed Nuggets?
I hope Dallas will win tonight without Terry. If not I think the Spurs will go to the conference finals
I didn't see the game but was it really so bad what Terry did and is the suspension correct???
If Cleveland goes to the Conference Finals it will be the biggest surprise so far. Who didn't put his money on Detroit to reach at least the conference finals???
The second biggest surprise are the Clippers. If they go to the conference finals...I mean...WOW.
Somehow I'd like to see Clippers vs Cavaliers in the finals, just because it would be such a huge surprise but somehow I have a feeling that we'll see Spurs vs Pistons again
I really really hope that Diiiiiiiiiirk and the Mavs win tonight, they really deserve to reache the NBA finals after all those years...
If everyone in the NBA only had one arm, I think Jerry Stackhouse would be the best player. He is so good with his right hand and on the right side. He can't do anything with his left, and its a major weakness. Watch his game and check it out. Its rather amusing, especially when you're not really cheering for either team.

Cavs over Detroit would be awesome. Who cares if Detroit is supposed to be better? It would be great that Lebron is THAT good to carry a mediocre team over what I consider a great team. At 21 years old. That dude is so money. I hope he just slams one home over RaWeed. Hey RaWeed, I guarantee that your favorite movie is Half Baked.
Clippers over Phoenix would be killer. I don't mind watching Phx though but a pathetic franchise suddently becoming stars is too poetic.
Spurs have won before and are boring as hell. No thanks. I won't watch the Finals if they are in it... seriously. Mavs would be ok, I'll watch it's someone new. I'd watch Miami since it's something new although Snack is still a Laker deep down and I can't root for that. Sorry Eddie.

he's lost weight lets give him a break ,anyone with 6 kids would be a fatter ass by now.
the revenge we all knew would happen is upon us.Riley and D-Wade have said that they wished the Cavs woudve won game 6 partly cause he woudve rather played game 1 today rather than have an entire week off and come in to tuesdays game cold, which might happen and certain people on this board will immediatly say the Heat are finished..

as everyone expected, pistons clamp down on cavs . 23 points in the second half is just pure defense . i had a feeling that the pistons lost some of their championship swagger from the past, but i was wrong . the cavs now have set the totem pole higher than everyone has expected before the playoffs started . does this lead to disappointment for lbj next year, when the cavs don't reach the conference finals ? we will see.
as for a pistons - heat series, this is an easy pick in my opinion. Pistons in 5, unless if the Pistons feel like giving Miami 'get out of jail' cards to the heat every so often. seems the pistons defense can click on and off anytime they want, and are still the same team . My opinion that the true defenders of the pistons are prince and ben wallace. billups, hamilton, and sheed are following behind prince and ben wallace. sheed can hold down haslem, and prince is going to rape antoine walker. walker is not going to have an easy look at any time during this series. the interesting matchups are going to be wade vs billups and shaq vs ben, sheed, and antonio mcdyess. payton, williams, and posey can pose as threats off the bench, but i don't think they can help as much, especially with lindsey hunter rolling into playoff form at the moment.
as for the western conference, history shows the "home" team will win game 7. i am going against history, and say the clips and mavs in the western conference finals.
