not far, a google search randomly linked to it and i thought i'd read for a giggle
what bullshit
Louk
have an idea what the hardstyle dj is as someone i know had to sort him out. drugs are bad remember that kids
haha im guessing you are a bionic head then
Louk
was but not anymore not really into hardstyle at all. remember when they got PVD to play but they lost shitloads of money that night. shame really as its got harder ever since. been flyering for them for years tho. thought the dj wanted a cigarette so when i gave them it they said 'no weed'. fair play to them tho.

| Oh, I also heard that once at a live gig, Oaky snorted a line of coke off the mixer, and passed out while he was mixing. Can anyone verify this? |
the dj from wales not one of the promoters from a popular night in Cardiff?
cally brian and juice came to plymouth to DJ last week and saw me wrecked - oops.
we went to bionic in june was fuckin rockin defo planning to go again
im playing in barry island in november cant wait
Louk
Well i know about armin that doesn't, and i'm sure of it,cause i saw him inface at guv and he wasn't on anything.
And the other Dj that im sure he doesn drugs is ali(dubfire) deepdish...
At LOL he was so wasted! ..like his face was screaming that he was on something(probably coc)
but to be honest ,drugs have big influence on the way artists create their music.. i believe a drugy musician(DJ,producer or w/e) in any genre can create funky and beautifull music.
Look at the history, all good musicians were drugies and THERE IS absoultly nothing wrong with that.
DRUGS ARE AMAZING if you take them responsibly.

haha they are alawys wrecked. what i hate about bionic is the venue, evo is rubbish and there needs to be a new dance club in cardiff built. back in the emporium it was absolutley amazing - some of my best nights ever have been there. But now its the valley boy parade - not as much as evo on a saturday tho.
Went to evo for a hardcore night last friday and the soundsystem has been replaced as the old was was appaling. next bionic in a few weeks
ha they saw me wrecked m8 last week more believe me thats the only time im ever doing base
evolution is a wicked venue fuckin love it well nice I thought
though VERY VERY hot the nite i went there.
Louk
lets not talk about base - bloody mental thing i tell thee (especially laced with a drink on ya birthday)
Prob as I have been to evo countless times i hate it. really tho its just a new style ritzy plonked in the middle of nowhere. I have heard they might be redeveloping it tho. For people from Cardiff its an absolute arse to get to and back home since they cancelled the bus. however the new security seem better than the old ones. Just don't go on a saturday as u will realise why i hate it!
Man who cares what drugs they do or don't do. I hate taking celebrities' opinions and actions like they are the be all end all model for behavior.
Not that everyone (or anyone) is saying that in this thread, but still.
To respond to the first post, Jonathan Lisle asked if I had some coke, but settled with some pills instead. Shame he was off to Japan just as the high settled in.
And isnt Gabriel & Dresden well known e-tards? Thats just what I heard
rofl this thread was fun to read, loved that comment about picotto at the start. i dunno i sorta assumed the dj would be the person not on the drugs but meh, i d say zabiela would be though
Are there any psy-dj's that havent ever tried drugs?
this thread is useless w/o pics of DJs fucked up.

The main reason why DJs, celebrities and the entire dance scene and the like are associated with drugs is because most people enjoying it are really extravert. Same goes for celebrities, think of artists, actors and musicians (creativity). Those characteristics go hand in hand with drug use. That's even been proven scientifically. Therefor I find it extremely funny that those scenes are often accused of causing drug use. What people fail to understand is the the causual link. It's not that scene that encourages drug use, it's the people in it that are pulled towards it.

| Originally posted by Eugene nope, you think of most dj's as ppl who do drugs. In fact the whole club/party scene is associated with drugs, in the eyes of many people, at least. That's why Trance and Techno music gets a bad rep in the media. |
now this thread brought back memories...

fuck yeah.

I'm sure nearly all of them do something. In my personal experience, Sandra Collins would probably be the biggest user and abuser. My wife and I once held her up because she could barely walk at a party where she spun. All she could ask was where can I get some meth? My friend snapped a pic of us holding her. Also, I have seen Astral Projection blatantly and openly get smashed during their sets. So much so that the last time I saw them, the one guy was literally laying on the keyboard, barely coherent. This made it completely obvious their so called "live PA" was nothing more than a front. I lost a lot of respect for them after seeing that. At least wait until your done performing to get smeared. I think that is completely disrespectful to the paying audience and shows how much they don't give a shit.
