every other DJ is an almost Tiesto...that show was unreal.

Awfully nice to be backstage watching Tiesto jumping around with the entire crowd at his mercy.....everything last night was crazy.

Nice meeting Starsearcher (looked like you were havign a very nice time indeed) nice meeting Tiesto, seems like a pretty f'ing good guy.

Good times....a few pics uploaded here now, I will have several more from his hotel room up in a while and I will have the first hour on DVX....cannot wait....

you got it my friend!

we missed out though Chris, we missed out buddy!!

Posted by DJediMaster on May-23-2006 06:04:

Shitttt. I knew I should have gone. Was he using Ableton?

Posted by Chris Allen on May-23-2006 06:19:

He doesn't use Ableton (dispises it actually). Most likely 4 CDJ's since he rarely uses vinyl anymore.

Usually has a monitor to monitor the visuals though so if there is an LCD monitor on stage, that's most likely what it is.

Dude, I know. I feel so bad about not going

Amen...to hell with all the stay@home hatez'...missing out the good fun, then bitching in your ear for a week about how tiesto sucks lol (or was that just my friend? hahaha) last night was <3 it!!

Posted by mikester69 on May-23-2006 07:01:

the days of "tiesto sucks" are over for now

Its great to see that he's not fading away like Oakenfold

LOL he's a legend but lately he hasnt done anything production wise and he hasnt put any effort into his sets which are always exactly 2 hours long and have had pretty much the same tracklists since 2004! I actually think he plays traffic more often then tiesto does.

Posted by nycionx on May-23-2006 07:15:

verry fuken good! better than last years for sure

before i got there i was like "this better be worth my 80$!" seriously it wasnt...a fuken 4-day EXIT festival is close to that amount.

but it definitley couldnt have been better. he played some classics and that i liked. so all in all it was sick

btw, in your tracklist starsearcher ur missing Way Out West - The Fall

and does anyone have a video of his opening (wen the curtain fell down)? that was really sick

lol there's some truth in your words there :P...and ya lol i heard him spin traffic twice myself, and i can't say i enjoy his latest productions that much either..."faster kill pussycat" ain't bad, and love "save the last trance for me" but other then that his latest cd isnt spectacular in my view...but still, i gotta give it up to the man for all the work he put in this music ever since the start...enjoyed both times i saw him too, sooo <3 to Oakey

Actually the set-up was 3 CDJ-1000MK2 & the new DJM-800 mixer.
