BTW, Shrek the Third is a pretty crappy movie, i was expecting so much more from it

aiite, i wouldn't SAY Spidey 3 was awesome (and def about 30 min too long) but it def was watchable and had its comic value...those corny sequences and dance scenes were priceless (Jay and Drew were CRACKING UP in their seats) and u even see hints of tobey macguire being able to MACK on the ladies...him asking the landlord's daughter for more and more cookies was so funny

one thing though, dont do any more crying scenes...Tobey wrinkly nose/face = NOT GOOD.

cool board with neon green lights tho and Venom was ewww, squishy, gooey black mess -- his teeth looked SCARY as hell tho.

awww...i wanted to watch it. then again it *IS* a sequel...

any thoughts on the movie "BUGS" coming out? (someone who worked on "the Exorcist" is affiliated with it. then again thats not saying much either)

iono but everytime that promo runs on TV and i see those welts on the persons body, i just start feeling sick and get chills ALL OVER.

i HATE BUGS!!!

(but i would go watch it if it had good reviews tho...)

Parker is not the geek he is made out to be in the movie. The actor is all wrong for the role to play Parker & why does hollywood suck so much making the comic books transition to big screens?!?!? I am not a fan of comics, except only for my admiration of comics art, but i would be furious if i was a fan to endure the shitty job hollywood does with those movies like x-men, spider man, (last) superman and ghost rider. (for some reason i bet half the American comic lovers would make a better adviser then whoever did for Marvel)

just got back from seeing pirates and i gotta say i loved every minute of it! everything came together at the end (if you stayed til after the credits ) it was just an overall great movie with good twists and kept u guessing til the end....

ocean's 13 - i thought it was good overall, expected a totally different story from it, this one is all about payback. clooney and pitt are just awesome together and the whole story is just awesome the way it was done, could have used a little more punch tho


fantastic 4 - cool movie, a bit short tho. jessica on fire was hot! lol, should have showed more of that shot tho ... the silver surfer guy is awesome and dr.doom is just a complete douche (as expected). all the special effects were on point

Hilarious movie. A must-see this year.

Also, Day Watch, the follow up to Night Watch, is still playing in NYC. If you haven't seen either, rent the first and then go see the sequel. GREAT Russian vampire/horror/thriller pic.

3 nights - 3 movies

Transformers - no need to go into detail... AWESOME!!

Ratatouille - i thought it was a great movie, not kid oriented and a great story, animation movies have gone such a long way in a very short time, the realism is superb!

License to Wed - wasn't planning to go see this but went to a wedding sunday so i was in the mood i guess, lol... anwyway, very funny movie, Robin Williams is always great, story was good but overall it could have been a little better

Live Free or Die Hard Review

FUCKING WORST DIE HARD EVER.


first of all, let me say that i'm a huge fan of die hard movies, i loved all 3. i was skeptical when 3 came out cuz its been half a decade since part 2 but it won me over by displaying a witty plot, decent acting/writing, an NYC setting [yea a bit biased here] and of course samuel l. jackson. now i consider all 3 die hards classics in my book.

by saying that, i was excited to see the 4th installment...i went to see it on July 3rd and let me tell you, i had a hard time sitting thru this CRAP. i was even getting sleepy after the 1.5hr mark and was making myslef stay up so i can finnish the movie.

the main complaint i have is that the writers and director tried extra hard to bring out the 'mcclane-ness'.. john mcclaine aint SUPPOSED to be funny the way he does about things happened to be very dry with wit, thats why its funny to the audience, if you dont respect that and give cheesy lines TO sound funny with the intent it just gets fucking corny.

all the supporting casts were a disaster too.. not to mention the most retarded villain out of the 4. "WARLOCK" ? give me a fucking break..LOL
the arab lookin FBI head was annoying as fuck with again, massive corny one liners, the "know it all look" hacker crew, and the daughter drama was nausiating...only thing half decent was some of the action sequences but that too, was so over the top that it left you with the wtf look rather than cheers. complete waste of time and money for me. very dissapointing.

so i decided to see harry potter instead...

good movie overall, the story continues but this one is totally different then the other 4. it was def. a transition movie and the next one will probably be alot better. there is alot of build up for not much at all in the end, it leaves alot to be desired but i guess that's just how the book went and they could only do so much with what was written...

Did you get a chance to catch it on IMAX 3D? Wanna hear about the 3D scenes cause for Superman it was so LAME...take off the glasses...put the glasses back on....no wait take of the glasses. Whatever if a movie is in 3D then the whole movie should be 3D...anyway just my rant.

i dunno about everyone else, but that scene in Superman Returns on the airplane...that just got **soo** complicated and involved that I got dizzy trying to watch that scene with the 3D glasses on i think i would have prefered just to watch the movie in its regular version.

im sure that Harry Potter IMAX 3D would be a hella fun movie to watch in 3D, flying thru the air with their brooms etc., casting spells etc hee

i would see it in IMAX, transformers too!... maybe this weekend, or after armin with mr. Yan cause i know he was talking about goin

i was expecting this to be awesome, and so it was! non stop laughs from start to finish! adam sandler is always awesome and keeps getting better, kevin james is always a sure thing too when it comes to comedy. Jessica Biel is f*ckin HOT!!!!!
i couldn't believe how many people i saw from other movies like all the adam sandler movies, grandma's boy.... even saw dave matthews being a gay store clerk and lance bass doing the gay closing song. overall awesome awesome movie that is not to be missed!

P.S: did not need to see David Spade in a playboy bunny outfit

Live Free or Die Hard:

i've been going back and forth about this movie and i gotta say im really glad i went. about 10 minutes in the movie just grabs you and it never lets up, so much god damn action!!! mc clane just never f*ckin dies! everytime he gets pwned by something he's always giggling which was so funny to see. justin long i think is a good actor and i like his style and personality. great storyline and great creativity!
