I love how there were patches of TAs everywhere! We were all spread out! Though, near the end of the night when we took over that back corner, that was key!

Glad I came out! Lawler's a house DJ I truly enjoy.

lawler was throwing those cds at the skybar and only like 5 people got them, well lucky me this guy was dancing beside me and i look at his hand and hes holding a copy of it LOL, im like buddy you have to make me a copy so i called him and hes making me a copy now. I dont know if its legal or not but whoever wants let me know when i get it i might put it on megaupload or w/e.

I had a blast. Lawler is my favorite DJ and his skybar set definitely didn't disappoint. I liked his set in the main room but I didn't catch much of it since it was waaaayyy too packed in there so I took refuge in the gallery and the drink. I fucking love those two rooms... the music, the vibe is always just right.

Once up on the skybar I stuck to the left-side where there was plenty of room to dance all night/morning. I tried to make my way to the DJ booth side but it was just too crazy. Finally found a nice spot beside the bar close to the skybar exit doors. btw, I quite liked the gogo dancers... they were entertaining.

mushyflowa, you are by far my favorite dancer and it was a pleasure sharing the dance floor with you at vibe & lawler. ^5 on saving the Guv from burning down!

Hanging out at cherry beach in the afternoon was a perfect way to end one of the funnest weekends of my life. I highly recomend it.

It was great seeing so many familiar faces out, even ones I haven't seen in a long time. Big thanks to everyone who made my weekend extra special... you know who you are. I'll be seeing you guys around.

What kinda camera do you and Ali have? The sound is amazing...it doesn't tear up the bass at all!!

Yeah, when we used to go to the Drink 5/6 years ago, it was strict guestlist only (they used to have a password system where you would have to say a password to the bouncer and be on list to get in) and the style code was strict. It has gone waaaaaaaaay downhill when I am seeing people in hoodies and tracksuits on at Skybar. Makes me miss the old days.

But like I said before, Lawler made up for it. He is better suited for intimate venues (ie he rocked Cielo this past Sunday night) and his gigs at Element Bar and System Soundbar were legendary. Skybar is intimate compared to the main room of Guvernment, and Lawler turned it up a notch when he put his shades on. It's always good to see a DJ hoppin' and boppin' around in the booth, looking like he's actually enjoying what he is playing. Lawler is God!
