The 4/4 mainstage aka Trance and Hardhouse had the most amazing energy on saturday night. Thrillseekers and John oo had that place rockin. Definately the least sketchy WEMF I've ever been too - mainly due to the fact that I didn't want to have anything to do with the people with the bad attitudes. If you kept away from the scene and just went to experience the culture and music then it was denifately an amazing weekend.

i was going to go to it, but after this weekend im taking a break. this is the only gatineau party that is publicly advertised and is a prety good event if your into goa/psy. all the dj's are locals from either the 819 region or montreal.

but imo gatineau has way better underground parties through the year, most are invite only, i have been to a couple..... the guy who used to run abm records in ottawa was one of the main djs at the parties and got me passes on a couple occasions.

jamie and todd on sunday morning left me speechless. the only thing i could do was laugh.

and to think of how proud i was of jamie for rocking out for that long, til i decided to check him out at the 4X4 only to find him and his crew rocking out. I've never ran out of a place so fast.

i was having a fucking blast! i was pissed they turned the music off!

more pissed than petty was when that one cracked out DJ sat morning started playing tribal house!

god, the music was SO SOOOOOO GOD ALL NIGHT saturday!!!!

would u say gatineu park is better then trudeu park?

cuz the wemf park was a lot shittier then I expected, but wemf still owned haha

And you're calling us cracked out? I dont see how partying when you were 17 is any better than partying if your 21, 22 etc. Wtf do you care if you were the one creeping into the clubs to try to get a dose, and now that you probably dont get high anymore you need to come in other threads or loaft around on the net all day trying to get attention by pissing people off. Just because you couldnt make it for whatever reason doesnt mean you need to diss others.


Anyways yeah wemf was sick, unfortunately got there a little late saturday afternoon, but otherwise pretty sick. Few sketchies, no one bothered us, we did our thing (woot for walking around with beers), and sick sick weather at night. Next year for sure.

comparing trudeau park to gatineau park isnt even fair. first of if my memory serves me correct, trudeau park used to be a biker club camp..... that featured such great things as car burning sessions, a stolen liquor truck that was burried in the ground with a tunnel dug so they could pull boxes of liquor out to sell in the bar in the main building.....

gatineau park is a provincial park, and is meticulously maintained and gorgeous. imo it would be the best place possible for an out door party. i just hope if eclipse is in the park that the party goers dont trash the place, i really enjoy that place through the year, i got hiking / biking / canoeing / camping almost once a week there throught he year.
