I saw the film years ago, but I honestly can't remember if it was any good. I haven't read the book, but I'm loving Neuromancer, so I might go on a bit of a William Gibson binge and see what his other stuff is like.

The Matrix movies ripped so much stuff off this book!

I'll probably do the same. Get back into sci-fi after dark fairytale punk.

EDIT: Yeah I believe a lot of films get 'inspiration' from such works. See Googooly, books pwn!

This book will keep you pinned to your seat, hard-hitting, suspencefull, cyberpunk book with plenty of dark humour. Keeps you in suspence until the last word! Unbelievable book, I read it two times and would probably read it several times more - that's how good it is:

Did I mention it features murder, cyber-ninjas, being able to "upload" your mind into a body clone, lots of gratiutous sex and violence plus new forms of drugs... oh and a bit of bestiality thrown in for good measure.

Srsly, awesome awesome awesome book!

So my mom suggested I start reading a book she just finished called "Into Thin Air" by Jon Krakauer. She couldn't put it down and she would always talk about it to me, so I feel like I practically read it with her. It seems pretty intense. It's a true story about hiking Mt. Everest. I think I'll crack it open after this coming weekend (got a big party weekend planned, so I probably won't be interested in starting it until Monday lol).
