i just got off the phone with my buddy...James was with his 2 female friends when the shooter started shooting up the place...he went up to them...told the girl to get off his lap and shot her...she grabed him and told him to carry his bag around...they went around for abit..then came back to the girl....he asked if she was dead...james wanst sure...the guy said, "now she is" and fucking shot her a few times right infront of my friends eyes....then the cops came in and james ran off....

now for fuck sakes...this is retarded my friend is in like the biggest shock ever...he just saw the girl he was seeing get killed right infront of his eyes...

I was there. I heard gunshots. I was at my cash at Pharmaprix in Alexis Nihon about 45 mins after my lunch break was over (12:45pm) and all I noticed was a shitload of Dawson students in the mall, but nobody really shopping at any of the boutiques. By 1:15pm, I had heard all kindssssss of varying stories but this was the most consistent: students who saw 2 men dressed in long black gear entered the college at the Atrium (DeMaisonneuve Street level) and started shooting up a storm. At around 1:25pm, I heard gunshots. In the mall, and in VERY close proximity to where my store is located (which is on the DeMaisonneuve street level also)...followed by ear-piercing sreams and sounds of a running stampede of people. I banged HARD and LOUD on the cash office's door and ran in, quite nervous...Within 20 minutes of that, I was being told by cops and the manager of my store to go hide, yes, HIDE!!! in the back where the lab is. I did as I was told. A few moments later, I was very abruptly kicked out of my hiding spot by the SWAT team, gas masks and all, and was clearly and loudly told to run outside with my hands covering my face and head. I did so but my God, I was freaked out. There were about 75 members of the SWAT team positioned to shoot in the mall, behind podiums, informations desks, etc...All I remember was them yelling at us "GO GO GO" and pointing their fkn guns at us then at the door by which we were exiting. I live about a 10-15 min walk away from Alexis Nihon so after things were apparently "under control" I was told to go home and stay there, to not attend my class I had at the Loyola Campus at 6pm and to just stay in my apartment (which is on Greene and Atwater) and NOT MOVE. Cops and SWAT told me to do these things. I called Concordia and the lady who answered told me the same things. All I did was listen to the radio and stay home last night. I was pretty fkn freaked out. Let me tell you, I have never felt that way before...those gunshots were FKN loud...The shooter ended up being at the Canadian Tire entrance (about 50 metres away from my cash). I'll post more later....

It's just awful that people our age have had to witness such awful things that they'll never, ever forget.

Psy-Trancer I feel absolutely terrible for your friend too...Nobody should have to go through that...I couldn't even imagine what he must be thinking right now. Poor guy.

I was reading some of the shooter's journals on vampirefreaks.com, the site where he was a member. Fuckin weird. A lot of people on the radio are blaming the website, and saying it should be brought down, etc.

Holy Shit good luck to anyone trying to get on Vampire freaks cause its being heavilly abused. Finally managed to get on and looks like the administrator allready put up some news on what happend.

The fact is society doesnt account for 100% of people man, the fact is there are people that still just dont fit in, even in the most detached from society "cliques" such as the vampire goth scene guys.

You can't leave a person in that state without referring him to a doctor to get treated for depression, schizo or whatever shit he had.

There's plenty of crazy people around us, and they are capable of such shit, but most of them are taken care of and treated.

An eye witness called the radio saying he was shot by the cops, to arm or leg, he collapsed, he took out his gun and shot his face.
