i remember seeing him with Preach there some time ago
holy crap... moving back in the province in 2 weeks and i saw this thread...i went to aria back in the days when i was in vacation in montreal few weeks after it openned... i think it was my first time i had a taste of the big after hours...
man i remember those lights coming down from the ceiling and dancing on the speaker on the left side on the dj booth and i remember someone putting a huge vibrating spider on my head.... then there was this guy with red glowy googles.... that was one hell of a night... i danced so much that night that i actually had to go lay down in parc berri the whole day because i couldnt walk... litterally couldnt walk...
i havent got the chance to go back since i went for the first time. But that night was the one that opened my eyes on how wide and crazy our scene was. I travelled across the country and was always looking for after hours and feed myself of dancing and crazy new sounds, i was hunting raves and club nights.... now i am older and this time is over but i still enjoy to go to events that i want to see...sober.
I just got promoted and they are transfering me to montreal. I should arrived Dec 1rst.... count me in... i am going for the farewell party. I might not know anybody, i might barely remember where is the place (around st-denis / st-cath?) but god i will find it. I owe this place one hell of a big thank you.

Hey since i am coming back that weekend.... where should i go before hitting aria that night... and does someone want to meet up somewhere? Kinda gonna feel lonely in that big city.
Or i could go drink by myself... and drink the night away... then dance the night away....
I wonder if i am going to see that spider again...
The one night that I'll gladly listen to the idiot-whistle guy.

i wish...it's kinda hard since it's right before finals...my friends and i were thinking about paying our tributes the next weekend (after thanksgiving)...i'd love to go there one last time and i haven't seen you guys in forever!

I've had more great nights there then most of you put together, yet i find this way to close tacky a bit.Alot of my favorite clubs just went away with no big party.This is just a gimmick to get your dollar one last time

the funny thing is those of you who weren't around during its glory days and bashed the fuck out of it are hanging on the most and feeling sentimental.I said goodbye to Aria when they stopped catering to the clients.
