My "Omg I'm Addicted" party was the Ascension Destiny boat cruise with Luke Spellbound and St Pete sometime in August 03. It was around the time PvD's 'Nothing But You' and Ferry's "Indigo" were popular...Every mix of those tracks were played that night
It was freakin cold on that boat with the wind whipping around - but what a blast I had! The boat landed and I had to be at work in 2 hours - just enough time to head to SgtFoo's, shower and get over to the office. One of the two times I fell asleep on my desk at work
Everytime I hear the sweet breakdown of Indigo a tear comes to my eye...OS2 played it at WEMF06 followed by BT - Flaming June. It was quite a back-to-the-roots moment.

[Edit: now that I think about it, I think I might've been at Dumonde at the docks in 01, but didn't know...Will have to ponder this...All of those pre-TA parties seem to have evaded my long term memory

My first time in an EDM venue was at Atomic in Ottawa sometime in 1997. I hadn't planned on going there but I somehow ended up in Atomic on the last leg of a bar-hopping spree with some people from res. I was way too drunk to notice who the DJ was but I'm hoping it was Max Graham.
Erick Morillo, Red-Lite Montreal, I think 3 years ago at the end of october. What a blast that was.

My first party was Spring 1997. It was at the old Shock niteclub. Front room DJs were John E, Hardware, Kimball Collins & Robert de la Gauthier, MARK OLIVER, and DR. TRANCE!
The sideroom included Smokin Joe, Delta 9 and KENNY GLASGOW.

| Originally posted by Endlesswave That set was disappointing imo, no flow, he was all over the place. (Have it on .wma) The tracks were good, it's just he was really inconsistent except for the last 2 hours or so. For me it was the start of me no longer listening to him anymore. |
My first party was not so much EDM but it was a jungle/House Party.
Thrown by Renegades promotions if anyone remembers them it was the V Recordings World Tour at the Latvian house on November 15 1997 with dj's
JJ Frost,Bryan Gee and Ray Keith for house Daeman, Hipp-E and Terry Mullen actually looking at the flyer Mark Oliver was also spinnin' that night. I was completely freaked out but had an awsome night shrooming for the first time. ahhhhh memories.
I also remember seeing this man in a hawaiian shirt as i waited in line my friends and i we were like like wtf, he was really cool though very laid back crackin jokes with all the kids i later found out he was Toronto legend Dr. Trance didn't get into trance in time to see him live or hear a set.its a shame.
