Tiesto
Paul Oakenfold
and
(ducking the dishes)
Armin Van Buren
oh, forgot Mauro Picotto - his set last year at Ultraspin was the letdown of the year

After all this listening you carve out a sound that you like -- tracks/sets that are outside your comfort zone are automatically heard by you in a different way - you don't even notice it - Different how? Well, you'll be paying much more attention to it, making it even easier to pick out/reference/criticize what it is you don't like. Enter the International DJ - hype and hype all over the place blah blah blah. You hear/attend a few sets and you just can't get enough, until you come across the first completely SHIT one and realize that there are limits to what they can do -- especially when it comes to pumping out an impressive tracklist/mix gig after gig -- this is their job, they can't innovate every damn night - all that matters is that the crowd in attendance enjoyed their outing. That said, some of you need to relax on your dj/genre worship/hate and open your minds a little. |

| Originally posted by geroin not necessarily, it is usually dj's that been here once or twice that underestimate us, others that have been coming here for years know that we don't fuck around. Deep Dish, Steve Lawler, AVB, Scumfrog, Marco V and many others love playing here and almost always deliver. |
not just listening to mixes but actually going to shows , i would say armin and markus shultz (sp?) are over-rated.
