I haven't watched scooby doo much since i was a kid. so sometimes your naive childhood memories cloud you perception until you have an epiphany. btw, seems like jake didn't know he was gay either. judging from cluelessness he's still trying to put 2 and 2 together

They way I'd like to view it is as a child you are not exposed to the "sexual" perception or motivation, which I think is what clouds judgment later in life.

I hooked up with my first guy when I we were both in 2nd grade. A lot. I played the whole naiive "I'm just a kid and fooling around and have NOOOOO idea what sexual desire is" card and of course he bought it.
But then again I had sex with a chick when I was 14.
So maybe I like both.
Speaking of Scooby Doo, anyone see the MASSIVE sexual undertones with Ren & Stimpy? I mean they were practically two married men. But at age 10 I had NO idea about any sexual/sensual undertones.

by this logic all male roommates are gay. there will always be sexual undertones in ANY relationship. friends included. this doesnt mean that they are gay or anything related.

I try to be fair minded by not thinking everyone is gay or has gay sexual undertones. But if you watch all the Ren & Stimpy episodes you'll see Stimpy in a dress, blowing kisses at Ren, taking care of Ren like he's his lover, etc. They're way too emotional to be just two dudes hanging out. This cartoon by far is gayer than anything I've seen on Nickelodeon. Plus if you get the uncensored DVDs, it's proof that they are bisexual. Ren quote: "You're the pitcher I'm the catcher you're the pitcher I'm the catcher!" after Ren thinks Stimpy was licking his butt!

LOL I'm not homophobic nor am i gay. i can say that I'm not the most comfortable around a lot of gay guys but if its just a couple that i know then I'm comfortable. its just overall something new to me and i have to get used to it. i wasn't raised around it but i don't have any problems with gay people. its their choice not mine.
