Fack man, I was at Cozumel with my buddy last night, I would have loved to hear some beats other than my truck and my house.

I can't stand the OPM crowd, but if it rains Friday I'll probably swing by Mode and maybe check out Chromeo, since he's at Calumet (which is a couple doors down from La Luna). Otherwise, I'll be at a party at Sunset.

Some friends and I went to Pearl St the past few sundays and it was a lot of fun! It starts at 8 and goes to whenever but the last 2 sundays there were house Djs playing. Good Crowd too!

I never would have guessed either! We saw a poster hanging in Spot coffee for Sunset Sets and just kind of assumed it would be Hip Hop or something but the guy playing last weekend played a set kinda like Nathan Barato would have! They Close the bar and just have the upstairs patio open.

Crowd was good. Mostly people just out for drinks but there were a few people up there eating dinner, mostly people in their 20s



On a totally seprate note, those of you who live in Buffalo may find this amusing. I guess they closed OPM for good because of the shooting at the groove on the 4th, took away the owners licences and froze his bank accounts and what not. Well the had booked DJ Irene there for later in the summer and they were thinking about having the party at level. Level said yes on one condition. Kevin and Miguel from Kiss 98.5 would have to open for her. My friend Lil Joe was supposed to open for her at OPM. RIght now I have no idea whats going on with the party but come one. Kevin and Miguel opening for DJ Irene?

Seriously though, wow can't believe they shut the place down. Well, I guess if you bring the wrong crowd in, it's bound to happen.

I for one think they shoulda had picilus open instead, he's the MAN!

I'm actually dj'n at Blue Mirage on Friday's (as soon as we work things out) & Joe's there on Sats... Should be interesting.

OMG YES! THey are the best in Buffalo I've been at quote when they "spin" on Saturday nights and they put in a cd, and take it out, and so on. And OPM had a few big names coming in. Starkillers, Louie Devito.. Too Bad!!

anyway Pearl Street is pretty busy Sunday nights and worth checking out. The music is decent and a patio atmosphere in the summer is awesome.

I know man... Get this. I'm in the middle of packin all my shit up and the owner calls me and says "I have some bad news, I double booked". I told him I had a lot of people who were gonna be there and asked him if he's sure that he wants to cancel. It was hard to hold myself in from telling him to fuck off. I kept my cool and ended up spinnin at Blu Mirage instead. At about 2am the owner from Mode comes in and tells me he made a big mistake cuz Mode was dead. I told him it's cool, did a few shots and hopefully he'll stick to his word and I'll have almost every Friday in August booked. We'll see.

Sorry about that man, I found out late so I didn't bother posting it on here. I had to send about 30 txt messages telling people not to go there. I'm tellin ya, it's cuz it was Friday the 13th. What a shitty day!

We'll have to meet up one of these nights though. What are you up to tonight? I usually hitup Chipewa/Soho.

Chromeo was at Calumet (Third Room's back patio) last night, and fucking ripped it with an awesome live PA.

Damn, I knew I should have went to that. Ended up chasing tail to a house party instead and got too wrecked to trek downtown. Stupid, stupid.

Schulz at Dragonfly should make up for it though, can't wait.

I'll be at Blu Mirage tonight if anyone's in the Neighborhood. I know some people might be hittin up snooty fox/prespa so if you shoot down delaware just make a left on tupper and another let on main and it's about 100 yards on the right. Can't miss it, big blue sign I'm trying to get as many people in there as I can so they don't start makin me play hip hop. It's pretty sad how mainstream Buffalo is but I know you EDM lovers are out there!

Anything goin on out here tonight? I was thinkin about hittin up soho, I guess they have a decent house dj on Tues nights.
