What do you use for BC?

orthotricyclin lo

mmm...nope. however, when i was on the non-lo orthotricyclin (for 2 years) and took myself off of it, i felt A LOT better and noticed i had more energy. not sure if that is linked to the bc though.

yay no more cramps! but then again, i get DEBILITATING cramps to the point that i can't get out of bed for several hours and i'll throw up...so even if i'm not sexually active, i will still take the pill just for that one benefit.

Suggestions?

if you're good with remembering, the pill is chill. i am pretty good about that stuff, but i still set a daily alarm on my cell just for backup.

Anyone have an opinion on the IUD??? Ladies?

not personally, but a few of my friends have tried it and liked it. however, i heard that one of my friends' boyfriend could feel it when he went in really deep.

Anyone crazy enough to try the depo-provera *sp?*?

DON'T DO IT. my friend in high school tried it and she didn't get her period for 3 months (like it's supposed to do) and then got her period for 3 months straight. also, if you don't get your period for 90 days, i would be a little sketched out because what if it didn't work and you wound up getting preggo?

quote:
Men, will you be willing to take the pill for men when it is on the market?

haha that would be awesome. however, it's kind of a strange concept and i wonder how your body rebounds after you stop taking it, like how would your body know to begin making sperm again?

my gyneco told me about this stuff it seems to be brand new here , imported from US...i dunno it could be maybe good? but i dont have a lot of information about this though

but for now taking the pill never caused me problems though my gyneco is annoying , i have to go see her every 3 months to get the prescription , she full checks me all the time....well at least i know i stay and im clean but , sometimes i just wish i could only get the paper and leave because i cant say being checked out is something very pleasant

Tried Naproxen? It helps offset that, but it's not a birth control pill, just an anti-inflammatory and it works really well for that, -for some people so talk to your doctor about a script

why doesn't anyone use abstinence as a form of birth control?

/Christian conservative

That's actually what my doctor told me...except it is the OTC version, Naproxem Sodium (generic name for Aleve). It is the only thing other than the pill that I've found to work for cramps...however I find that there is only a very small window of opportunity to take it (when I FIRST get them), and if I miss that, I am screwed. So unless I want to carry it around with me whenever I am due to start my period, I'll just take the pill daily (obviously for other reasons too) and be covered

k birth control rocks and all, but am i the only one who thinks women not getting periods is against nature. The down side to depo i guess, we are supposed to have a weekend of putting up with your whining and receiving blowjobs during sporting events as a reward.
damn science
