doesnt seem to unique and interesting for the canada scene. i had higher hopes for the lineup this year. i dont know what the aim of this festival is really but the name of it as a world electronic music festival seems a let down. That line up is totally a north american music festival if you see what im saying.

theres alot of good djs there and itll be a good party. this year it doesnt seem like they have too much variety in the music. i would just think a festival like this wouldnt go with just what is "in" around here, you know maybe try to push the boudaries a bit. if u want typical house or dnb or breaks its not hard find.

im not complaining there arent too many big headliners thats a good thing actually so dont get me wrong. this lineup though seems quite bland with a few exceptions for the calibre of festival this could be. preach was a good call to book though im not hating on him.

well, never tried going just for sat, but as i understand it, u cant get in sat until noon officially... now whether they let u in earlier (no idea from past years), i dont know.

ur missing the shenanigans, and seeing the wemf vibe "build" over the day/evening till it peaks at a point that night with the djs, ur friends, all the alcohol + other stiff uve consumed... and then the random shit that happens that first night before u pass out, if that ever happens at all...

the next day saturday is first spent chilling and reminiscing about (recuperating/dealing ??) what the fucking happened the prior night. to go only on saturday u completely miss out on that, and for me, thats not even an option. i would have just dumped 1/2 of my wemf experience (not so much the DJs, but the discussing of the shit that happened... trust me, thats a good 1/2 the fun imo, being there with everyone still the next day, still at wemf (!!!!), still more to come, and the fact that NO ONE is disbanding and going home or leaving the party. we all know we're spending the day together and have EVEN MORE (and better) things to come this night!

If I can tell you one thing, like Baz Luhrmann did, I would tell you this:

I'll be going with my friends, his on here Dr.Ew

but yeah I'm also bringing my friend who's 18 haha this is her first EDM experience... shes never been to any rave or EDM event but she loves Techno lol
