It was worth for $22 though..

i refuse to go to camelback! went there once & never will again. i went to okemo mountain in vermont a few weeks ago & loved it. slopes were better than i expected. going back jan 30th for a week & hopefully hunter mountain before then. my friend just moved to colorodo & said the slopes out here are NUTHiNG compared to out there so i will def be making a trip out there shortly

go to utah before colorado; utah is no joke. alta/snowbird is probably the best "resort" terrain in the US (although i'm partial to Squaw Valley). i'm only going to colorado in two weeks because i've been to utah 3 times in 4 years.

i used to love that place, until i went to Lake Tahoe

Vail blows (i went today on a locals recommendation - probably to reduce the crowds on better slopes) - at least i had a foot of new pow to play in. I've been on steeper slopes back east, the ticket price was much steeper than the slopes: 92 dollars! breck is tomorrow.

Breck is a nasty resort. Much steeper than Vail. There are tons of great tree runs. Anyone heading out to Colorado should definitely check out Breck. My one complaint was that it actually snowed too much and the park was too slow so i couldn't clear the transitions on the jumps (maybe its time for a waxing). But this weekend was a pretty good colorado excursion.

Not the most scenic or amazing pictures, but it's all i have (breckenridge - disregard the date, they were taken yesterday):

Snowshoeing in Tahoe yesterday They just got a foot last night, this morning must be sickkkk on the slopes. Unfortunately I am sitting in Las Vegas airport right now waiting for a 2hr delayed flight. At least it's a rowdy jovial atmosphere with everyone gathered around the TVs watching the Superbowl

all princeton ski shops are going out of business! kinda surprising; so right now they have most items up to 30% off and some items for up to 40% off.

I just came back from Riding Okemo and the conditions were great, but they are supposed to get covered with snow on tuesday so I'll be going back next weekend.

Went yesterday to creek for the entire day. It was pretty packed but most people stayed on bunny slopes and easy trails so we stayed on the hard trails. At one point we went on the double diamond on the granite peak. Everything was fine and dandy until i we hit the steep side that was covered in ice. You could not ride down on your board. I had to slide down on my ass until you couldnt see the ice and then start riding again.

Later on i went on the easy trails to hit up some jumps. 7 + hours of snowboarding killed my legs, im hurting today but it was well worth it

Went up to Stratton the other weekend and had a pretty solid time. After getting destroyed by a few blues and just about all blacks and not even bothering w/ double blacks at whistler, the double blacks up at stratton were a walk in the park. Nice to get on those nice groomed and wide runs with no one on them

Went to mountain creek over the weekend, pretty decent trails for a small local mountain. Lift tickets were a little pricey - $69 for the day... but still, pretty good, or at least as good as this late in the season will get you.
