Last year was a really good turn out, but I think the word is out that it was a good way to connect with people before the event after sending people messages and all. This one I think is def gonna be bigger meeting this year!

My guess is a bigger turnout, but last year we had somewhere between 25-40 people. I lost track. I hope to see you all there.
Can anyone give me an address of a place that is in Dam Square so I know how far away hotels I'm looking at are? I've tried googling, etc and it isn't going to well

i don't know the address, but just keep looking... a lot of hotels in their description will write something like "just a 6 minute walk from damsquare"
I would recommend staying in the Jordaan or on a Houseboat, or maybe the Botel which is by the floating chinese restaurant... I liked staying on a Houseboat.

can anyone recommend some good hotels near the area where TE is going to be held? the hotel that caught my eye is apparently a good 27 miles away from the arena. that taxi driver is gonna rape me a new one if i have to make that trip.

You can also use www.hostelworld.com or www.bookings.nl both are good sites to based on your budget. I like the Houseboats, its a nice way to see Amsterdam. See yall there!
so the majority of you guys are staying in Amsterdam or in Jaarbeurs? i want to be able to see amsterdam the day before TE.
Stay in Amsterdam, Jaarbeurs is the name of the venue, Utrecht is the name of the city its in, and is 20 minutes by train from Amsterdam
yeah, thats what i meant. how far is the train station from the arena in Utrecht?
