Good luck because I am done talking about the hawks I mean wizards . If verndogs agrees with what you said(55 and finals) then I will hate the NBA and learn a new sport like badminton and start an official thread!
We'll have to reconvene next April. Posted by Lebezniatnikov on Apr-07-2008 16:17:

It is almost my favorite time of the year. Thats right Popp is about to unshackle the Spurs and give them the green light to play real basketball. I can't fucking wait.

All this newspaper talk about keeping Isaiah in the organization(removed from coach or not). Don't forget he cost them 11.5 mill law suit which had almost nothing to do with the basketball side of things. When it comes to bball or not he f'd up so remove him 100% and then maybe you can start fapping away. Plus get rid of randoph and some others. If they don't make the playoffs ok not next year but the year after God help the knicks in general.
PS you prob already know PE might join if Mark Jackson gets the coaching position. That would be a good look for NY fans
oh are all the spurs healthy? If so just freakin great Posted by Zild on Apr-08-2008 17:29:
Of course the Spurs are healthy, and they're just about to start playing actual basketball.

I feel if Lakers don't shoot too many 3's that might help. Last year the lakers would get eating but this year they are strong when on a win streak. Right now, small(2) but good thing its near the playoffs.

Do you really think they're going to give it their all? Seeing as how they've both clinched berths, and there is no reason to tire or injure key players this close to the playoffs I'm sure Popp isn't stupid enough to make a costly mistake like that.

I would rather face Denver or GS, than Dallas or Phoenix in the first round man. Hell yeah, I want that number one spot. Who would want the Mavs or the Suns in the first place? Certainly, not me.

Dallas is old news
1. Finals loss
2. First Round loss
3. ??? My guess 1st or 2nd round tops

hmmm dont think todays game is so epic since Giniobiliiiii!!! isnt playing but I agree with KapeDAMN! in that Id rather play the Nuggets than the Mavs in the 1st round
Western Conf playoffs are gonna be tough obviously so playing Denver in the 1st round is an advantage. Denver might tire teams out with their offense, but they cant play defense for shit

Yeah I bet Dallas thought they had it easy facing GS in the first round too last year.

so lakers are first, hope they keep it that way.

Kobe's pinky!! NBA drama. Thats equal to Carmelo getting his DUI. Just for attention nothing that affects their game
Season is almost done! Some of my highlights
-Celtics could of won 70 if the wanted to
-Kudos to the Aldeman for coming back. When they won 22, he was def a part of that. Sucks they lost Yao
-Shaq trade. If they don't win the Championship this year then it was a bust.
-Gasol trade was uneven but then the Knicks getting everything against them is unfair also for the past couple of years. Boo Hoo!
-New Orleans is a team that can't hide anymore. To have their record they need to be consistent and they proved it.
-Happy for the Hawks.
-Seattle moving if so is a waste! See Memphis Griz ughhh
-Miami Heat, damn.
Anyone want to add their thoughts or additions

we can definately see a difference in kobe's gameplay, but his numbers don't say so. oddly enough, feb, march, and april are his best months this year.

With as much (unwarranted, imo) hype the Celtics have been given, if they don't reach the Finals this year they are a let-down. That said, I don't think they're going to do it. They went 1-3 against the Wizards this season and never faced Gilbert... that's a potential blockbuster second round matchup right there!

phil jackson...greatest coach? the beginning of the season the lakers were trying to shop kobe around so they could rebuild. they were pretty much throwing in the towel before the season started. he's been coaching for 17 years and has never had a losing season. he has 9 championships (possibly 10 after this year). he's getting a new ring every other year. that's pretty unreal to me.

lol at comparing the Celtics to the Wizards.
Beyond the dry statistics i think we can all agree that Washington's "trio" is alot more one-dimensional then the Celtics versatile trio.
Agent0 is selfish, Butler insn't a very good shooter and Jameson is a joke compared to KG...you can imagine how boring a Wizards offensive scenerio is going to be every time but with Boston the players complement each other much better.
The Bucks used to have Sam,Allen and Robinson on the same team and they sucked, sometimes it takes more then just 3 all-stars.

Agreed, which is the exact reason I think the Wiz can beat the Celtics. That and the fact that they HAVE beaten the Celtics three times this year and only lost one game when they didn't have Butler or Arenas. The Wizards even beat the Celtics twice in one weekend in January (once at home and once in Boston)!
Add to that the fact that Nick Young has looked flat-out awesome this last month, Darius Songaila has stepped in for the injured Butler and not missed a step, and Roger Mason, Jr. even threw in 30 points against the Pacers the other night, and I'll take the Wizards. While their stars have been busy getting healthy, the young guys on the Wiz (Stevenson, Young, Pecherov, Blatche) have improved considerably. Sorry guys, I watch basketball games and not just highlights.

Naw, I'm not even a Wizards fan - I'm a Timberwolves fan (as painful as that often is). Believe me, I know how good KG is - I used to get to see him all the time in Minneapolis. But I'm able to recognize how much better the Wizards have gotten this season. In a lot of ways, Gilbert and Butler being injured for part of the season is the best thing that could have happened to them. They have so much depth it is ridiculous now.
