Deal.

What should we call this one?

Posted by Abercrombie on Jan-07-2009 02:47:

Friday after work for me is best, but I'll try my best to bust out early.

Posted by The Ear on Jan-07-2009 04:42:

& I shall try my best to wait for you to get there before ordering lol.

I went to grab a burrito around 3 today & Smokes, while 1/2 full in the seating, was not busy by their standards.

Toronto really needs to stop opening places for poutine. Just a disgrace and slap in the face to Montreal.

I'll have to try this new place anyways. I was twice disapointed at Smoke's now, so I still haven't found a genuine Quebec-style poutine here.

i've been a bit disappointed as well the last couple of times i went. imo, the quality has gone down since they opened.

Agreed.

I shall check out poutini's eventually & report back, but until then, I shall continue to make my own from scratch in terms of fries & gravy w/ curds gathered from Global Cheese in Kensington.

Is this stuff great, or what?

Posted by ChemEnhanced on Jun-17-2009 21:48:

I've definately become a fan of homemade poutine with bacon and fried mushrooms.

try grilled green peppers and/or hotdogs and/or merguez

Posted by Abercrombie on Jun-18-2009 01:30:

I'm going to Cuba in a couple of weeks, and they serve poutine at my resort. From what I've read on Tripadvisor, many resorts in CUba serve poutine too. I will prolly take pix of it while washing it down with my Guv water bottle

Posted by Frenchie on Jun-18-2009 01:40:

Aw man. Hope it's good, AJ!

Sounds good...I'll have to try it.

Another favourite of mine is steak and grilled eggplant.

I was so excited to see this a few weeks ago. It will likely draw a whole bunch of Ryerson students.
