Lol how fucked up are these people when they say this. I wonder if they would say the same thing when they are sober?

I was fully sober on NYD (nothing in my system)... didn't even grab a beer when someone offered to buy. It was the 1st time I went and I thought the music was amazing. A descent party... I like observing people too so for me it was a social experiment lol. It was pretty stuffy /hot in one area of the club and if you have any breathing issues / asthma I'd say stay in the areas with more air flow... but other than that it was ok.

It's funny that people think you need a substance in your system to enjoy music... most people I've met into this music love the music first.

If anyone could talk for 10 hours about anything.. it's you Jon.

Wait.... put you and RJ together and we have a marathon conversation

Lee Osbourne is amazing. I had to miss him though

Arrived just in time for Greg Gow's set and O.M.G.!!! Goose bumps!!!! (Tommy u know what I'm talking about!!!)

Nathan- absolute madness!

Carlo- speechless!!!

Last night was one of the best times I've had at zone!
I spent my New Year last night with Carlo dropping Spring Love...I couldn't have asked for anything more!!! <3

It's good to see Lee Osborne playing at The Zone. He's one of my favourite Toronto residents. I only caught about 30 minutes of his set on NYD, but it was really good. He plays a little differently than most of The Zone DJs.

I wrote these, maybe they'll help you understand

The combination of the low ceilings, darkness, rabbit-warren layout, black lights and FUCKING FILTHY BEATS is, in my opinion, unbeatable.
Raw, emotion-fuelled abandonment.

There are often weekday moments
When I find that I recall
The primal times I've spent
In the best club of them all
I think back to the blacklights
And the filthy beats we'd share
When we'd spend our Sundays
Without a mortal care
Sometimes I would see excess
And sketchfest would be sought
But Comfort how I love you
You take mu troubles when I'm caught
You're not just my favourite club
But a friend who's always there
And I treasure the enlightenment
Of the times that we still share

Some people don't like this one, it was intended as satire.

Our hell's angels who art in the zone
Hallowed be thy beats
Thy sketchdom come
Thy g will be done
In the zone as it is in hell
Give us this day our weekly filth
as we forgive those sketchbags on the patio
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from the k hole
For thine is the comfort
The grind and the gurning forever and ever

AFuckingMEN !!!!

its raw, and focused on the music- not the vip.
to feel 'included' all you have to do is love the music.

if you feel like you dont fit in- its probably because you cant get over being surrounded by people different from you.

I get what you're saying man. It's why I loved partying from the beginning with this scene, though I still can't relate to the utter dirtiness of the place (and some of the people, in terms of the drugs I mean.) For me there's an extent to what I can take watching/interacting with that before I get annoyed. That goes for drunken idiots too.

The best is when you bust out a nice, warm Michelinas and eat it there right in the middle of the Zone dancefloor!

FTW -- such a good idea!

(dont forget to bring a plastic fork too, otherwise its just messy and unduly complicated while dancing)

I don't know what other people think, but I honestly don't find the place dirty at all.

In terms of looks, Comfort Zone is a darker, less fancy Gallery.

If you don't think zone is dirty then I would hate to see what your bedroom looks like!
