Yea mine kinda sucked, for I left my county to hangout w ppl I've never met and more than likely will never see again. Idk I think a good rule to live by is friends and family only on important intoxicated holidays such as that one.Hmm and to tell you the truth there are so many countries celebrating the new year during the first half of the year that I'm sure I'll try it again in Feb.....Chines New Year!

my NYE consisted of cooking / setting up table until 11:55pm, then a quick shot to send off the year that passed, a quick toast to NYE and from 1am - 3:30am intervention-style argument involving myself, my in-laws talking to my wife what a religious, bible-thumping, killjoy she has become ever since she submersed herself into religion. It wasn't pretty... and we made absolute "0" progress, not to mention totally ruined the NYE for all involved. Fun, fun...

mine was 50/50. I was the DD so I only had one beer. The music was good (Phil K + some locals, can't complain), most of the people I went with were cool, but then the one decided to get completely tits drunk. I wound up having to drive his drunk ass to a place where he could couch surf and he wound up vomiting on my car door. Where he got dropped off at was entirely out of the way as well.

At least I've got something on him now. And since he co-owns one of the local coffee shops I expect free coffee for a month.
