Something about his "secret" meeting with Hillary gives me a feeling that there is either a ticket announcement or a deal for the Attorney General office in a Clinton Administration that went down. Just last week Edwards pledged to stay in the race to "influence dialogue within the Democratic Party" until at least the Feb. 5 primaries.
We shall see.

McCain grabs it by the throat. I think, generally, he would give the Reps. a more electable candidate than Romney.

McCain doesn't seem as morally conservative as Romney.

which makes him appealing to some Democrats who are unsure of Obama's experience and Hillary's lack of evil.

I learned in the late 90s that I definitely wouldn't want him as president. Everyone loved his first term. NYC went from being a shit hole to what it is today. However, his 2nd term (pre 9/11) was just atrocious. He went nuts with the cops. A lot of old school NYTAs can tell you how he effectively killed Twilo and tried his best to kill off the nightlife here. City hall went from being just another public office into a gated fortress. He's thanking his lucky stars that his legacy as mayor will be remembered for leading NYC through 9/11 than turning NYC into a borderline police state.
Do I want America as a police state? Uh not exactly.
I was an intern under Giuliani in the summer of 1999 and 2000. One time I got to see him in person was during the intern luncheon at city hall. He had to be one of the most cockiest assholes I've ever met. During the Q&A session with the interns, he answered every answer, including mine, with such smugness it was sickening.

That's one thing that I like about Obama - when I met him a few years back he was the very picture of humility. And the other Senators that he counts as friends - on both sides of the aisle - include Hagel, Lugar, Biden, Webb - some of the more genuine politicians the US has left.
I'd still absolutely love to see a Obama/Biden ticket. Change, sense of service rather than profit, AND experience on foreign policy.

Well, Edwards said both Clinton and Obama have told him they have made it a priority to curb poverty.
But ya know how that goes....talk is cheap, muthafuckas.
