yeh, it just proves how Massa is shit or Kimi is awesome, probably both. Kimi on a bad day is just a few seconds behind.

Great result for Massa and Ferrari especially after two awful races from Massa. Lewis dropping to 13th is beautiful, credit to the BMW's as they continue their good pace to keep on track with the big boys and lead the constructors standings.

Webber actually finished and got some points.

The world is definitely coming to an end.

Pretty sure I heard Martin Brundle say Kimi was sick this weekend, which would explain his performance.

Posted by The_G0dfather on Apr-07-2008 11:35:

aha, that would indeed explain it

twice in a row!!!

Bad luck can't last forever, Webber has always been a good driver, all he needs is a good car.

Was it a processional race or was there enough action to go to the effort of downloading a torrent?

I was on my way home from Timewarp (www.time-warp.de)during the race and the train didn't have a tv

Some passing, but mostly processional. It was fun seeing Hamilton dropping it, and the Ferrari's trading fastest laps.

Thanks You saved me the effort of starting up my torrent client. Energy is at a premium today since Saturday went from 535am until what most people would consider 10pm Sunday evening. Zee Germans know how to throw a party

So the score is Massa 2 - Hamilton 1 for ditching shitting the bed this year? Just jokes, good to see him back on form.

I'm just waiting for BMW (Kubica) to win a race. I predict they'll do it in the first half of the season too.

Heidfeld will do it first. The guy has a way of slogging it out, and just making sure he is there at the end.

My bet is Kubica's win at Monaco, he loves street cirquits, and BMW's lack of straight line speed will not be a disadvantage. Other good bets are Canada, Hungary, Valencia and Singapore

That actually could be a good bet. Especially if they like to play with lighter fuel loads. Hungary and Monaco are the two places qualifying abnormally high may help you.

anything interesting happening during the break before the next race? any testing or new orgies?

Posted by noikeee on Apr-21-2008 16:31:

Some testing at Barcelona, Ferrari introduced a new nose with a hole, Renault introduced that very sharp engine cover Red Bull has been using, and the teams have tested again slicks with 2009 aero levels.

New angle from Kubica's crash last year at Montreal:

Posted by Orko on Apr-21-2008 19:16:

Honda brought out an ugly ass front wing design.

It seems like the designers are going crazy with aero since so much of it will be reduced next year. They are truly saying 'fuck it', lets just push the boundaries.

@ Nick Heidfeld

And that is why you don't judge a car based on testing

dare I say Ha Ha

i missed this past weekends race. from what I've read though, it was a snoozer minus Kov's wreck.

BMW themselves have said many times they are very surprised by the progress they managed to make since that point

Posted by stren on Apr-29-2008 07:14:

yet they never drew such conclusions
