presales do not guarantee you get in if you come past a certain hour!!!! I can't emphasize enough the importance of getting there before crazy hour, i.e=midnight. do not show up to an after hours show at 2 a.m. or else you be in line for the next few hours if they even let you in, unless your down to throw down a few grand for some v.i.p. tables or the dj personally comes out and escorts you in.

maybe you meant 11%??? most WMC presale tix will be sold by Wantickets.com and they charge a % of the ticket price for each ticket sold.

There is a % fee + ann $11 fee for shipping if I remember correctly. If you order them all at once, then you only pay one $11 fee for shipping.

For anyone that doesnt know already, getting hard tickets (as opposed to will call) is an absolute must when it comes to WMC, IMO.

ah - i totally disagree with the hard tix versus will call thing. this will be i think my 7th WMC attending and i've never found having the online printout tix versus hard tix to make any real difference in getting in quick. just bring your wantickets (or other ticket company) printout, show the doorguys and walk right in. i can't think of a single event last year having a hard ticket would have expedited things versus a online ticket and we went to a ton of parties at Cameo, Space, Twilo, Mansion, etc. presale is presale IMO, regardless if its an online prinout or hard ticket mailed to you.

I never had a problem with will call. There is a stand right outside Space/Nocturnal/etc. that will have them. I think its the best way to go. Why pay $11 for them to mail you a ticket you might lose?

Yeah, last year Space was will call only (for PVD/Sander at least), and that part worked out okay. As far as the other shows are concerned, I just feel a little more comfortable having my tickets in hand. I trust myself not to lose my tickets more than I trust a will call booth not to fuck up. Plus, I usually dont end up using all the tickets that I bought, so the option is always there to sell them that way also.

regardless if those dates are correct i would say that anything before the nite of mar 24th probably should not be considered WMC related. and if you look at the dates they are exactly 1 week prior from what you would expect....

Posted by rudeflame on Jan-15-2008 18:21:

those dates dont match up with this year...oaky did that last yr, not this yr
