I really hope Altidore gets more games in. I guess the development takes time...im just surprised that Freddy Adu hasnt excelled to a first team spot..i just wonder whats lacking

Liverpool really need a win on boxing day..ill be really pissed. im sick of the ties.

As for Becks...i hope he stays in Milan. Its always a pleasure seeing him play at a TOP tier league.

Still have love for Maradona as your coach even though you lost 3-1 to Brazil at home?

AGUANTE ARGENTINAAAA!!!!!

Yes, you are right man ,what can i say we lost.
maradano is still a god no matter what, however, maybe it's time to consider a new manager. if we dont classify for the world cup i will go into depression for 4 years!
but i have faith in my team and i know they'll pull through with or without marado!

aguanteee

Verndogs, you have to meet up with my hubby for Man U matches. He is the biggest supporter. He watches every game, knows every stat, he is crazy. I don't like Nevada Smiths because as many leagues as they show, they'll always be a Chelsea bar. IMO, the best place to watch Man U in good weather is at Sixth Ward. They have a beer garden with a huge screen and on the weekends, unlimited mimosas with brunch. Seriously unlimited, if you're there for the whole game, no problem, keep drinking. The owners are cool too and brought us shots after a Man U win.

For my hubby ♥

Glory, glory, Man United,
Glory, glory, Man United,
Glory, glory, Man United,
And the reds go marching on, on, on...

Eh, I just told him you like Nevada Smiths. He is too crazy about Man U to walk in, sacreligious. We are planning two Old Tr matches this season.

which one are you going to?

I'm going to the game against villa the weekend of the 12th

We already did the package for Man U Chelsea forst weekend of April and he didn't plan the other one yet. If you go through the Man U site and do the package, you'll get presale tickets. The only thing we're not doing is the special seating since he wants to be with the supporters.

I did the membership with one unted USA and easily got tickets through there.

Did you get just tickets or a package? He really wanted a tour of the stadium so we did the package. Are you flying there or taking the train from London? I can't decide which is better.

so it's debatable right now

40 million is ok. they have the cash. it's a diff team without ronaldhino so not worth it to have etoo it makes sense to bring ibrahimovic in my opinion.

Yankeebaby, I'll let you know when the next Man U meet up is at Sixth Ward. It is a lot of fun with everyone drinking in the beer garden and watching. They get very loud and crazy. Of course, there are more people when it is a big match. I'll post the info here.

I'm more worried about WC qualifiers than anything right now. I haven't really been reading this thread lately so I dunno what you guys are talking about... BUT... but but but....

The CONCACAF qualifications are real tight right now with us, mexico, el salvador, and honduras vying for 3 guaranteed spots, with the 4th having to play the 5th place team from south america.

In Europe it's looking like portugal and czech republic might not even make it. And the surprises to me are slovakia and serbia, looking like they'll be in off the jump as opposed to having to go to round 2.

I really REALLY wanted to try and get tickets and plan a trip to SA for next summer but I have a feeling I'm going to be staying in DC and taking summer classes. ugh! I am not looking forward to a summer in this swamp. At least SA has beaches

Well if they traded away Eto'o and 40 million euros for someone younger and with the potential to be better than Eto'o like Benzema or Pato, then it makes sense. Instead, they gave that up in exchange for a striker who isn't as good as Eto'o, disappears in big games and has the ego bigger than Ronaldo's.
