-- What 3 tracks do you want to hear at Bal En Blanc?

^i love the party aspect, dressing up like i wouldn't normally dress up like BUT the music is the key for me. i'm not going to montreal from nyc just for a so so set from a bunch of eh djs but lots of "naked" people.
i don't know about anyone else but i'm so excited to hear menno spin live!!!
Ppl need to realize that there are people out there other than TA's who actually do like the music, are in the scene but don't post on Tranceaddict, support DJ's bc of friendships or business relations, fuck I can go and on. But I think I might have to clarify what I meant in my statement above, when I hear that Armin and Ferry are spinning at BEB I automatically know that I will like the music so for me its just getting to the actual party really. I don't like Guetto shit or offer nissims genre of whatever they spin but I will deffo check out Calderone even though he has changed his style I still remember the amazing tribal this man banged out at a few parties I attended.....I would have even checked out the DISH if they were closing the house room this year.
Montreal for me is like almost going to Europe to party...get it?? If you haven't been to European massives then you won't understand where I'm coming from but I love them

Any opportunity for me to get out of T.O for a massive I WILL TAKE!!!
Montreal happens to be closer and cheaper than spending $2000 on Trance Energy in Holland two years in a row, so I skipped that and BEB it is!!!
I know all the elements of a good party will be present to some extent, hence I get so fucking excited

valid point,
actually browsing tiesto's club tracklist from time to time i see he plays even tech house, using producers like Kaliber, Popof, etc...
wonder if he plays like that live?????

Originally posted by 84th Ave. good point, there is alot of people that know the music, that dont post on TA. Again, this isn't the niche market that BEB is known for or targeting, cause if there was many many people into trance and follow trance, events like Sensation would have been absolutely packed, and it was flop Unlike any other event, people go to BEB cause its BEB, this organization has created such a good name for themselves that people just go, if it was armin 3 years in a row, if there was tiesto, any big name, wtv and it is going to be a good party....btw where are u T.O peeps going to be?....i'll be lonely without Sylvie lollol

Originally posted by ZraW I am not addicted to trance I am addicted to music that sounds cool in my ears. Trance tends to sound cooler in my ears, therefore, i tend to prefer trance. Than again, I also tend to prefer house to hip hop, and hip hop to jazz, and jazz to country, i think you get the point? I Like Trance and House but usually PREFER trance. Kthx.
I prefer old skool hip hop over new shit...and I prefer older trance to newer trance....and I prefer tech-Tribal over electro ANYDAY...prog is fun timez and makes u jam like a crazy mofo....minimal me loves....i was never into jungle and happy hardcore but im sure it sets off ppl who love the sound of it

Originally posted by ~*Stereohead*~ you think tiesto would have satisfied your trance needs? you are aware that tiesto is currently playing more and more house in his sets mr.addicted-to-trance? episode #49 of his ClubLife sets or whatever the fuck it's called, he plays: SNM - Itajai Vibes (WISE remix)...Can't get more housey than WISE. episode #50: Green Velvet - Flash (original mix). Defo not trance but absolutely horrid techno. episode #48: Robbie Rivera feat. Denise Rivera - Back To Zero (2008 Juicy mix)......absolutely horrid again but definitely not trance. here's tiesto playing more house about a year ago...pitched up to around 131bpm: here's armin playing full on prog (same track as above), not trance, about 6 months ago...played (surprisingly) at a normal, housey speed: even armin and especially tiesto are getting the picture: TRANCE IS DEAD!

What tiesto plays live, and what he plays on his radio show are two totally different things. Him live is very tiesto trance (if you know what i mean) and is usually not my cup of tea, but i still hear a banging set every now and again. As for his radio show, it it totally different from his live sets, he goes into alot more house and techno, as well as trance.

Originally posted by 84th Ave. probably the only reason why it was a remote success, but it doesnt even come close to Cream 04...Cream 04 had way more people, wayyyyyyyyyy better vibe, better everything (man if i can relive that moment )

Originally posted by 84th Ave. the people who go for music: yes, you'll find your Armin preachers in the front, and people on TA like Neo Hacker etc who go and actually know who's spinning and enjoy the music, other people on TA, etc.
I like when my name comes out haha
I feel like being the only MTLTA loving Trance
I'll be there like at 10h30-11h00. I just wanna come in without any lineups. I'll sit down for IM and then when Ferry comes in, the party begin !
