I'm in the mood for epic TA lulz...I was searching for that "Trance RPG" thread by Lascodi but can't find it. I know he deleted it but elFreak copied it and started another one.
Why aren't more of these threads in the classic old threads archive?
Finally found it!! 'oakenfold cox pie chop tranceaddict' in google turned up a winner.
I give you 'The joyous family of dead animals (pieguy thread)'
wow, we should have book printed with all of these inside

Sorry everyone, I'm going to bump this thread up. I figured this was the best place to ask this question:
What is the 'you are a great guy' thing all about in the music discussion forum? Can someone please send a link to it?
Thanks to anyone who can fill me in on this. It seems I've missed the boat on this one.
what exactly is the COR?
What a great guy.

this thread should be pinned!!!
Oooh, so much delicious drama.
hah, never saw this the first time around.
internet memetics ftw
Good bump, might as well throw this one in there:
Steve Angello (or the MC) bashing deadmau5
*Bump*
Going through some of those again years later I can understand why some DJs/producers stayed away from TA. I suppose it's "better" for them now as they're insulated by fans on social media who will downvote/attack any negative comments that are unwarranted ...but there is also a rawness that is missing from the discussion of music these days.

Gads, that Sky0cean spoof... Amazing it's got legs over a decade later.
...and is probably quite the indictment against contemporary trance if folks are *still* referring to it.
As for this thread, wow, PvD and ATB had beef? Having deep dove into both their discographies now, and concluding they're more alike than you'd expect, that's so funny to me.
/DJMag voters sure seem to think so, the two almost always side-by-side in their poll's ranking

I wish Skyocean would make one for techno / Prog, it's beyond parody at this point also
No idea if this has been mentioned earlier in this thread, but remembered the whole Jason Porter ordeal from 11 years ago when someone mentioned him in a thread today.
