"* No hats, no sneakers, no timbs, no sports wear" is the quote from the website, and thats about what you'll find on every club's website to deter people from showing up like total slobs. The fact is that 75% of the people in the club are wearing sneakers and t-shirts, including the staff (the owners included)

We were there mate, they weren't letting in people with sneakers..And it states on the web site that they will not let in people with sneakers..

We only went there because we had to get sumfin from Brians car, whilst we were waiting for him the doormen refused maybe 50 people.

Posted by Frequency Frank on Apr-17-2008 02:24:

I probably saw less than 15 people at Sasha & Digweed NOT wearing sneakers. And no t-shirts?? cmon dude, lol.

Tell me Frank, why would I fucking lie after travelling for six hours to come see Tyas ???

I admit that the 300 + miles may make me a lil bit more pissed than the average slob but 'cmon ffs..

dude, you told me at 8:00 PM on Saturday night you had no intention on even going to Webster hall....

I don't know why we are even having this conversation...I guess unfortunately for this 'argument,' you never actually went inside the club to see that everyone inside was wearing sneakers. I just got off the phone with their manager, and he confirmed exactly what I said....they list that on their web page so they have a legit excuse to deny people who they deem too intoxicated, people who use suspicious IDs, and people who seem to be up to no good. Thats standard practice at pretty much all major clubs.

Posted by DJ Eco on Apr-17-2008 02:48:

There were sneakers allowed and generally I think the dress code was very lax (after the free b4 11pm point at least)... Idk, maybe they just don't let too many people in after a certain hour of the night, don't know Steven

Simple explanation Frank and you're gonna kick yourself for not reading the threads any further..

We were on the way down to NYC when we had a phone call from Wai to say that they weren't letting people into WH for wearing sneakers,,I WAS WEARING SNEAKERS..

I actually spoke to Zack about this on the way down on AIM..I said that we wanted to do both but couldn't..

We went to Sully for Eli and headed back to WH for Sean...Text messages between Me, Ryan Tyas and Brian Toia followed to get our asses to WH where we were refused entrance..

At the door we were told a few very interesting facts which are not for these boards...

bullshit....

this was your original (and correct) take on why you weren't let in from the review thread.....

now all of a sudden you were denided for wearing sneakers along with 50 other people lol

get your story straight before you muck up a party thread

I didn't speak to you until after ten when I was on the way down..We left at 10-04 after Eli called us...I was meant to meet Brian Toia outside WH at 12am and he can vouch for this as we were arranging it on our way down..Mike Brand had Hard Tickets that he was going to bring outside for us..

I don't drink much anymore and certainly hadn't had one beer on that day...

Fuck You you TIT...

Posted by Frequency Frank on Apr-17-2008 03:00:

Steven, I guess I missed something there, and I still don't really get it but honestly, it doesn't matter one bit. Everyone in there had a great time, Mike did a very nice job putting everything together and my good friends Ryan and Tommy both told me they had a very fun time playing (as I'm sure Sean and Askew did).

The club was packed, for the second time in 2 weekends. Let's get back on track here and make it 3 for 3 in april

Here's the thing..If you wanna start arguing with people because of a venue that has nothing to do with you,,that's fine..

If you wanna defend asshole doormen,,thats cool...

But if you don't support people who support your nights totally,,that's cool also..

Jon,Albert,Sheila and Steven and prolly a few moor..

We are involved at Webster (hence why we booked and organized the side room there and have our own list at the door on sat, and why we have our own events on the way this summer there), we never said the doormen were right, and we love all of the extended Core family.

This needn't turn into an internet mudslingingfest. Seriously.
