why dont you just bring a bunch of shooters in?

Posted by chimera66 on Jun-27-2008 23:52:

The drink lines were efficient from what I remember althoug it was a process. I think you had to buy tickets in one line and get alcohol in another...I didn't wait long but I only got wine early in the evening. The food was good.

Is it hard to do? Say my gf brings a water bottle full of rum in her purse, would they find it and take it? Also, do they sell soda in there for mixers? Any other liquids they sell in there that would make good mixers?

And again, they only sell beer? No gin and tonics?

Alcohol is very important to me

if they see liquid they confiscate it.

prob best to store them in your underoos, but i would only suggest this if you are going to be the only one drinking them

where are you buying water because i've always paid like $6 and expect to pay that much next weekend.

Posted by Excess on Jun-28-2008 17:04:

haha well this was a while back and for a different type of concert, at warped tour. this however is a first time experience for me so im guessing your estimate would be closer than mine

Posted by The Vza on Jun-29-2008 04:19:

i hope its ONLY 3.50

(not saying anything bad about brooklyn, I actually like a few things there.....but too far when you can find really whatever you need in manhattan....)

That is the most absurd comment that I have ever heard on these boards..Brooklyn is the most happening place in NYC..Cobble Hill, Ditmas Park, Carol Gardens, Kensington, Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights,Bay Ridge are "THE" most beautiful places in NYC..Million Dollar homes and beautiful parks..The bars are vibrant and the food is second to none..

Ive actually been impressed with BK as I spent some time there this past year with work and all. The place isnt ghettoe'd out like before, ppl are cool. Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Coney Island, etc are all nice places to chill. Lots of new stores, developments, and stuff. Compared to the crappy ass Bronx, Ill take BK anyday. Not to mention, BK doesnt charge toll. LOL.

lol..... I said I LIKED brooklyn, but living uptown, it IS far, and the bronx for ME is only a couple stops (even tho there is even LESS reason to go to the bronx....I work there and there isnt shit worth going up there for......)

get there when doors open, 430pm.

it *should* be better than last year -- esp if they address the sound problem that occurred last year. if uve never attended an outdoor event, im sure its going to be a great experience ^_^ i think u should be able to bring ur camera as long as its not a dslr (but then again ive heard that ppl can bring Rebels in because of their small size). no dress code so w00t :

Yes you can bring a camera, and there might be little kids lol

There is no row, its all open space. Get there early and reserve your space on the dancefloor. There will be a line forming.

btw...I'm not going this year. Yea I like Armin but I am going to a private party this year. I thought I could do both but I was really fooling myself.

I actually also won a ticket to go to McCarren and I am trying to get the prize transfered over to someone else who wants to go.

Couldn't turn down a 2 day party on a large private estate with a hot tub, in ground pool, billards, volleyball and other sports, DJ's, bands, full bar etc. May be next year...

well the rain would certainly be a relief, esp if the humidity is going to be like it was this weekend

Six Flags is faaar and it requires gas and tolls...but the park does offer discounts (i think its 25$ for admission) soo it may be worth it. **shruggs**
