hmm alrights, sounds awsome, anyways, girls or no girls im there!!!
Anybody went to kulturKlub? anybody coming this friday?
Can honestly admit I go clubbing and partying for these reasons:
In very specific order:
1. Girls, girls, girls
2. Hang out and chill with friends
3. The awesome music is just a BONUS
4. Fuck if it was just about the bloody music I would stay home and listen to those amazing recorded sets on my stupid computer speakers LOL
5. Girls, girls, girls
lol wow dude, u seriously prefer listening to sets at home better than at stereo, with its insane sound system? music at home and at stereo are 2 completely different things. At stereo the sound system digs into you, makes you feel the music, be the music, at home its just lame. I see youre more of a clubber, going out to pop some bottles and get some chicks, theres non of that in afterhours. Afterhours are purely for the music. When im really into it i spend my night alone on the speaker. living the moment, enjoying the music. peaceful feeling i love, and get everytime i go there, except when its deadmau5 playing ofcourse
Nice posts and Alexx G nice description of the stereo sound
love that shit hehe. Good segway away from u know what.
FARINA NIGHTS ARE AMMAZZZING! And as said, there definately are a lot of girls and the crowd is bright, happy, bouncy, funky and sooo much fun. Ive never seen a Dj sweat as much as Farina (and maybe carl cox) did one of the last times he played stereo.
Selma, when it is majority gay a straight person, to different degrees will not feel comfortable at all as opposed to having some chicks to vibe with as well as for eye candy purposes and more
Guess you misunderstood my post. However, the bottom line is that too many people preach about it "always being about the music first and foremost". My point was if it was just about the MUSIC, people would stay home and listen to their music at home. Instead of venturing out to get a piece of tail. Whether it's to get chicks or dudes. LOL
I've had loads of afterhours, clubbing and raving experiences over the years. Yes, I said "raving" because I was around during it's glory days. LOL Couldn't care less if it's a sketchy drug infested group or a drinking crowd. Doesn't matter to me as long as there are at least some beautiful girls surrounding me or on the dance floor. Been to lots of gay parties too, but I always bring my own girls with me.
Wouldn't be caught dead at deadmau5 especially at STEREO. However, I'm doing my damnest to get a ride to Montreal for Danny Howells tomorrow, since I'm from Toronto.
Pfft, you don't have to tell me about STEREO!!!
ha ha

I am not a 100% straight,..but I think I know what you mean...I dunno, I just go for musical experiences. Women I can get elsewhere. Muhaha.

i guess i'll have to admit
wasn't quite like at TAO
actually
.......was dirty
i feel betrayed..... all that confidence i had in this guy tops to getting
caught up on hate debate on these forums.... DECEIPT
well man if you're reading this this set sucked really deep but the one
at TAO was hype. that means u got it in u. this time i jus dunno wtf u did
as for howells/farina
howells. deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep....................
farina. flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy..............
but if i were to chose between farina and howells, howells would take
the bone. each time coming out on sainte catherine im satisfied unlike
any other party. its nuts, even in winter.

ohhh come on guys he really is talented, maybe his sound isn't up your alley.
he is however practically a veteran at what he does and the sound he produces. he's tight, what else can i say? maybe his mushroom jazz will make you snooze a bit but i still think it's groovy and totally appropriate for 9am onwards til he closes his set
any other thoughts on how deadmau5 played guys? i thought a shitload of peeps were going to this? the club was packed with 850 people i was told!
any track IDs tia (oneeleven)? since you said he had a tight track selection, i'd love to know what tracks you thought were tight
alexxxx dude...all i can say is I TOLD YOU SO nananananapoopoo
(jk buddy
) don't let joel ruin your stereo experience, come out tonight; it will be 1000000000000000% better
I personally think that DeadMau5 delivered a solid set and I m confident that he will be re-booked again. His set @ Stereo sounded completely differnt than the set I uploaded on TA. Thecrowd seemed to be really into it and everyone around me was talking on how good Deadmau5 is.
Jeff Fontaine was really really amazing. It was the first time I am already a big fan.
lolstereo
and im not trying to be mean
but lo, stereo, if it wasnt for picnic mtl would be bush league...it actually kinda is lol.
I really like Deadmau5's music and was really suprised to see so many people who don't like it here; I kinda was debating on not going since you guys really were convinced he was bad. But then again I had bought my ticket 1 week earlier and was pretty serious about going !!
Got in the line at 3:45 and entered at 4:10; anyways MAUS set was intense and very good. When Deadmau5 took control of the DJM800 everyone yelled out JOEL JOEL JOEL !!! But some were like << who is the guy? >> I'm like it's Deadmau5; never saw him without the mouse head? They're like << oh no! damn he's cool! >>
I was glued to the dj booth with my friend observing Joel performing (i had that black hoody for those who saw me!) at 6:30 I went to the back to find my cousin and dance! I love his set; it was really incredible; don't go saying I'm stupid or wtv because If I liked it I liked it you know; everyone was saying how such an artist he is and how he has talents; the crowd was really into it and loving it.
I was impressed by his live set using ableton a djm800, 1 EFX1000 and a touch screen and another dj item I had no clue (white rectangularthing with orange button ... no its not a cdj)
All in all I had a blast and it was worth my money and my time; the crowd really liked it as I said .
Joel seemed kinda nervous when taking the controls of Stereo but quickly got confortable!
BTW that sound system is rooocking; is it funktion 1 ??
lol youre a fag
I loved the set that Joel played at Stereo, that sound system was made for him, He killed it. The place was packed and I heard only positive feedback about it from everyone. I'm about to go back and read the rest of this thread now as I am a little out of the loop here, but I just wanted to say That the set was amazing.
o_o anf is in full form again

some of the things you people say on this board make me want to run far far away from montreal and never come back. if you think the stereo system was made for deadmau5 you obviously need to get out more.
