Ahaha fuck!

Here I am, listening to IDM and ambient at work. I feel so old... I always brag about not listening to soft music, and here I am, listening to music skipping with mellow voices singing about birds and unicorns in the background

It's all down hill from here

lol I have a cd full of Bruce Springsteen in my car. I haven't changed the disc in like 3 months.

Speaking of that, my bf wants to hear your stuff if you and LeeAnn come up and join us during Oktoberfest (or if we stop there on the way back) - FYI

and on the getting old part - I blow so much money at Home Depot on paint and house stuff it's not even funny. Don't even get me started on Ikea.

i think i've officially grown out of my fratboy/bachelor pad lifestyle. i threw out my strobe lights and took down all my posters in my house. i've also taken down the wine bottles in my office; and replaced it w/ pictures of me and my dog

Posted by Boomer187 on Aug-23-2008 13:35:

although I have no posters on the wall, and My lowe's card is almost maxed out...

Yea so have I. I'm all miss "I'll clean the litter box." "Make sure you get the clorox wipes with the moutain smell."

I'm at the store and I'll pick up things for the kitty, or for when the next time we see one of our pairs of parents, etc.

The people at Home Depot know us by name.

//edit

and I was psyched to spend two days off cleaning, painting, and rearranging furniture.

LOL, boomer i'm 25...26 during halloween week

and yeah, i've been choring-it-up as well....vacuuming and shit every weekend.

kinda sucks, all i do now is work and clean.

oh, and drink wine too.

keep in mind, i still have my blacklights up over my bed, so i can still rock out with my cock out

it was funny tho, when i bought my new bed, i was thinking, "will this match stuff in my bedroom?" and then i was like, "WTF is happening to me?!?!" lol

when i moved my computer desk out of my bedroom about 6 months ago was kind of when i realized i was getting older.

Posted by Boomer187 on Aug-23-2008 14:33:

well you almost caught up to me, I'll be 28 that same Halloween week.

not bad for a dryer at all - electric or gas?

and yeah, floor models + warranty = win

I saw the most awesome washer/dryer stacker unit at Sears, and I REALLY wanted to buy it...but my apartment doesn't have the outlets for it. :/

Posted by Cloudburst on Aug-23-2008 18:50:

Fuck, you people scare me! Arranging furniture? Cleaning?

I moved across the country to start my new job and I haven't even unpacked my clothes fully.

lol, get with it man - you've moved for a job; that in itself makes you old. just unpack your shit, buy some appliances, light some candles, and be old with us too

so i'm going to rent out my house - and i'm leaving the washer and dryer there...they're maytags (no thanks to you Mr. Grene but aren't really the best....just some $330 kind. thinking at my new place i'm going to get newer/better ones.

wish the front-load washers weren't so damn expensive

Leaving everyone you know for a new job is what old people do?

I mean I got here 9 weeks ago, I live with roommates, my clothes are still either in my bag or on a chair and basicaly just sleep and eat at home.
