lol i'd take bane or harley quinn, although i doubt they would introduce her because of her affiliation with the joker.

Heath was awesome as the Joker but I felt Christian Bale's acting to be a bit rough at times. By the end of the movie his stupid deep Batman voice became a bit much and I also found the whole two-face add-in to be quite bad. I think buddy's acting was terrible once he became two face and I'm of the opinion that he definately did not need holes in the side of his face. The movie could have been a bit shorter as well. I found it to drag a little bit towards the end.

It totally dragged on. The last 30 minutes felt like they were crammed in just so Two-Face could be in the movie. And I honestly didn't think the guys acting was any good. Such over-the-top drama. He was really good as Harvey Dent though. Even his "reason" for going psycho was like "wtf?"

if not catwoman then, Talia al Ghul. she comes to gotham to finish the job her father died doing.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talia_al_Ghul
quote:
Her usual role is as a recurring romantic interest for Batman; her father, the leader of a worldwide criminal empire, considers Batman the man most worthy to marry Talia and to become his heir. It is natural that Batman is uninterested in the criminal empire, but he has shown considerable interest in Talia.

sounds like a really bad bollywood picture to be honest

BTW, about two face's status, this might give us a big raging clue....

it would be so lame if he lived...they already showed a memorial service so obviously the body was stashed away and he was declared dead...

Interesting. I wonder how they'd explain him surviving though.

possible explanation
gorden secretly had him transferred to arkham. cause remember gorden is a commissioner now and hes has more control.
that fall wasnt that bad, a few broken bones probably. but he could be alive.

She's also his son (Damian)'s mother.

edit: Yeah I guess it says that in the Wiki.

Over-rated beyond comprehension. Leave it to the general public to gawk at such over-hyped propaganda.

Christian Bale - 6/10 - His voice was unbearable and he just doesn't carry the dark brooding role like he should

Heath Ledger - 9/10 - Not enough dialogue but the limited amount that was there had significant irony surrounding Heath' death.

Aaron Eckhart - 7/10 - His role as Harvey Dent was believable - Two-face was a write off.

Morgan Freeman - NA/10 - Morgan was morgan, nothing has ever really changed with his performances over the years - no applicable rating

Gary Oldman - 7.5/10 - Mediocre at best - nothing that will ever stay fresh in my mind

Conclusion: 8/10 - If it wasn't for Heath' performance and Nolan's writing/directing I truly think this film would have failed miserably - I'm still laughing at Batman Begins - everyone was in awe thinking it was some kind of masterpiece when really they were just starstruck because it was a refreshing new look from Schumacher' debauchery... but then again, I'm just a critic.

Bale's performance as Batman leaves a lot to be desired.
Bale as Bruce Wayne is more fun to watch.

Heath Ledger - 9/10 - Not enough dialogue but the limited amount that was there had significant irony surrounding Heath' death.

Sometimes, less is more.

Why so seeeeerious?????

lol

Just saw this last night... the bf was way more into it than I was. Best part for me was Heath Ledger in the Joker's role... WOW
It takes the combination of a brilliant actor and brilliant screenplay to make the audience side with (or sympathize with) the villian... I definitely smell an Oscar there

My favourite part of the movie:
When the two boat-loads of people are in the middle of deciding whether or not to pull their respective detonators- the big black dude (I think from The Green Mile too?) takes it from the cop stating that he is going to do "what should have been done 10 minutes ago" ..... and then throws it out of the window. I actually gasped. I have no idea why that scene affected me so much.

As a NON avid fan of action flicks... this puppy was alright
