People wanna hear ATB - 9 AM??

What's next? "Blow my whistle bitch", Vengaboys "We like to party, we, we, we like to party", and Aqua "I'm a barbie girl, in a barbie... "????

sorry guys, I can't even finish typing that crap. Let's stick to older trance tunes, and leave the eurotrash/dance songs to the candy raver kids

sorry but i liked ATB back then.

hehehe, my favourite tune used to be "Itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout" but you don't see me requesting it!!!

I'm gonna think a bit and post from home. I know I've already been red flagged by the IT guys here at work

I agree w zack. "Classics". Can be very subjective. The stuff I played last year was 98-2002.

I could have prob dug deeper but I wanted to play an all vinyl set as well in the spirit of classic and I didn't have any pre 97 or 98 vinyl Since I didn't really start djing till 2000ish.

There is a review thread from that nite somewhere on TA... Will have to find that and post it for everyone to see.

i will try my best to keep up with tae.. but i don't think i can go as far back as he can. earliest is maybe circa 97-98

Of course I wasn't disappointed cause you guys killed it afterwards. Whoever plays the songs in my list gets a free cookie lol

last year we went til 6 am on the dot. Steve did end early, but he also went on much earlier than we usually have headliners go on, since everyone was coming from the Park and already amped up. M.I.K.E. will be playing a longer set this year than Steve did last year, don't you worry.

you played some more recent stuff as well if I remember correctly.

it works though. As Lyss said, she didn't start going out til 2002. So a lot of those 2002, 2003 tracks are classics in her eyes.

It's kind of scary that 2003 is 5 years prior now Def some great tracks aroudn that time. That said, the mid-nineties won't be forgotten either

Posted by Frequency Mike on Aug-05-2008 19:43:

I stopped buying trance vinly in 2003. I may have played one from then.. I remember playing sky falls down or something like that at like 6 am.. I think that was 2003 or 4.

Majority of my stuff was 2001ish.

I played the newer remix of 98 also prob. I have to dig up that review. We posted our setlists. I DO remember dusting off my copy of cafe del mar and handing it to zack at like 6 in the morn lol... Just goes to show ya... Stay to the very end people
