These people ARE different from me. Explain how I am more of a twat than an AK-47 strapped russki soldier? I'm not wishing death on Ossetians - their pawn goverment made that choice for their people by being a pawn in Russia's game of politics and settling scores. I lived in the area that was FUCKED by Russians (in every meaning of the word) for over 300 years... So forgive me if I don't get all sentimental over dead russian soldiers who have no fucking business being in a land they have no claim to.

Fucking hypocrites run and point fingers at Israel (which, by the way, has more rights to the land they "occupy") while doing even worse in Georgia. You wanna see ethnic cleansing? Take a look at what those russian fucktards are doing to GEORGIA before you call me a twat, ok, ya puss-covered cunt?

well if all of the bastards in the region are as hate-filled and narrow-sighted as you maybe it's not such a bad idea to drop a couple of bombs and put you idiots in your place.

once you realize the fact that Georgia's government instigated this whole situation go ahead and get back to me about a response. and if you really think Russia should've sat back and done nothing while Georgia put a military strike against the South Ossetia region then I've underestimated your idiocy in the first place...

Props on correct usage of the word "bogan".

They're just people, like yourself. Granted, in any war there are men who are "evil", and enjoy killing, rape and destruction, but a vast majority are just normal people being told what to do.

Do you really think that every German in WW1 and WW2 was a butcher who wanted to kill innocents and take over the world?

Of course not, a majority of them didn't want to be there, just like the Allied soldiers, but had to be for fear of death, or the death of their family.

To wish death on these people who are only following orders is short sighted.

That's not to say that "following orders" is a get out of jail free card - people should be responsible for their own actions.

I can appreciate how you feel knowing this. No one would ask you to get sentimental, but to say "I hope lots of Russians die" is pretty horrible.

Surely you see the irony in that statement?

You've ridiculed him for wishing death on his enemies, then said exactly the same thing in the next sentence.

Ossetia is still under international treaties and laws a territory belonging to Georgia. Explain again how Georgia's situation is any different from Russia's with Chechnya.

Also, my hate is directed towards russian government and the military. Unlike you, I don't suggest death of russian civilians. you have a typical fucking russian mentality and that precludes any further sensible dialog with you. you may re-insert your head back up to it's original position - up your ass, where it belongs.

Posted by diesel_tron3000 on Aug-11-2008 03:41:

yeah this is all just russia trying to change the regime governing georgia so they can then get the sweetest deal possible on a pipeline through the country to the black sea

But I never said that I supported the Chechnya conflict. In fact quite the opposite. In your head wasn't so far in your ass in the first place you would've remembered I mentioned I think Russia is being a bit hypocritical in this instance. I support Ossetia's decision to be independent just as much as I think Chechnya should have the same right.

You need to realize that not all Russians have the same mentality. There are some decisions that I support and others I don't. However I think when Georgia bombed to "take back" the region and started killing innocent lives - Russia had every right to put up a tank/artillery line and destroy military airports so that no further bombings occured.

NOW! That being said - this is what happened to the best of my knowledge. Obviously I don't know every detail and I am certain none of us do. I don't have a problem debating any of this. What I do have a problem is your saying some ignorant shit like the casualty of Russian lives will do anything to appease this situation. Your own personal hatred towards Russians and (in turn) satisfaction from the loss of their lives is beyond fucked up. The rationale to come up with something like that cannot come from a sensible human being.

In case you've already forgotten - the above statement is the one I'm referring to.

Quite possibly the largest hypocrisy I've ever seen. "Hey, we can invade countries all we want, but YOU can't!" Can somebody tell Cheney that's not how it works!?

Bush, Cheney denounce Russian military action

Updated Sun. Aug. 10 2008 11:29 PM ET

CTV.ca News Staff

U.S. President George Bush says the Russian military has launched a disproportionate response to Georgia, the former Soviet republic trying to reclaim the disputed territory of South Ossetia.

In an interview with NBC, Bush said that "we strongly condemn the bombing outside of South Ossetia," and shared his concerns with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and President Dmitri Medvedev.

Meanwhile, U.S. Vice-President Dick Cheney said late Sunday that Russia's military action against Georgia "must not go unanswered," as the conflict over the disputed territory continued to escalate.

Cheney made his remarks while speaking with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili. The United States has historically given its support to Georgia, which has been lobbying for inclusion in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
