Googelin Paul, where is Perfecto on tour ?Sunday February 8 at 11:56AM PSTwell, since January 9 2009 we are wondering what happen ?
its look like this waiting time is confirm our question & wonder, where is the regular show Perfecto on tour ?
now we have no choice but searching and "Googleing " after Paul Oakenfold in the net, just to feel him little more closing, to enjoy listening his new material and exposure music. we all ready know his last shows in other radio station, SlanFm, VibeFm ... >
we are accompanied Paul all our life, we are the truly fans who support and admire. kind of roots one
to the amazing crew, thank you fore your understanding. looking foreword to hear from the relevant people who charge here, what going on ?

Considering myself neither "relevant" or "in charge" can only notice that inspite all the roots and true fans - that is absolutely not fair not sharing "whatsgoingon" info with us.
I do love Paul's music and it really kind of unpleasant not hearing from him or his crew ... well hope this thread will get an answer

Just talked to Paul and apparently there was some confusion behind the scenes that have caused the delay on the show. We only chatted for a minute on this as we had a number of things to cover, so i don't have anymore details on what the cause of the "delay" or missing shows was BUT... The show will return to regular rotation in the immediate future.

We appreciate your enthusiasm on the show and even though we missed a few weeks of the show airing, we are encouraged that even the lack of a few shows was greatly missed.

The Perfecto is part of our lives - and it is kind of pity to know that the delays which took place were not in the list of important activities ...

U.S.-based Sirius XM said close to bankruptcy filing

Satellite radio giant Sirius XM is close to filing for bankruptcy protection in the U.S.. according to a report in the New York Times.

Sirius XM was created when two competing companies � Sirius and XM � merged. Together, they have more than $5 billion US in assets and the bankruptcy could be one of the largest in U.S. history.

In Canada, they're still separate companies, but there are questions about what will happen to their Canadian listeners if the U.S. parent goes bust.

Sirius XM pumps out music and entertainment on more than 100 channels every day. CBC Radio One and Radio 3 are among the stations carried by Sirius Canada.

Tight credit markets hurting Sirius XM
Rival satellite radio companies Sirius and XM merged last year because of financial difficulties.

But Sirius XM has never made money and it's carrying a debt of more than $3.25 billion US.

In good times, it could manage the debt and pay high-profile shock jocks such as Howard Stern, who makes $100 million annually.

But now there's a deep recession and tight credit markets are hurting the business.

Sirius XM could default on $150-million US payment at the end of this month.

Reports say the company has hired lawyers to help seek Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the US.

Kaan Yigit, president of Solutions Research Group in Toronto, says filing for Chapter 11 will give Sirius XM time to restructure.

"What that business is facing is the perfect storm of factors," Yigit, who has expertise in satellite radio, told CBC News.

But the question is whether XM Sirius can come up with a business model that will work, especially in a recession.

"The combined entity XM Sirius ... may cease to exist in six months to a year," he said.

Merger deal being explored
In Canada, Sirius, which is 40 per cent owned by the CBC, and XM remain two separate companies.

They will be able to continue to provide the same range of satellite radio stations they have provided since their launch in 2005, XM Canada president Michael Moscowitz said.

Under bankruptcy protection, XM Sirius in the U.S. should keep broadcasting as usual, he told CBC News. The Canadian satellite radio services have licensing deals to broadcast a selection of the U.S. stations, as well as Canadian channels.

XM Canada and Sirius Canada are exploring possible terms of a merger deal here, but have yet to reach an agreement.

A CBC spokesman said the public broadcaster is monitoring the situation of XM Sirius in the U.S.

In the very beggining the voice says - blah, blah, blah - Paul Oakenfold blah blah blah Perfecto presents Paul Oakenfold's Radiomix, which is the regular show on VibeFM ... Also I've tried to search VibeFM web looking for the Perfecto on Tour sign ... no luck neither in search or in Spanish )))
As is it just Paul's regular mix on VibeFm ...

Damn ... I have cheked the last two tracklists of Radio show ... no match with Perfecto ... Somehow I have missed the idea there were no Perfecto to match ...
Also I have somehow mixed up the languages - what I thought was Spanish - was not Spanish at all ... VibeFM is Romanian radiostation ...

Both languages are miles apart, how could you possibly get mixed up with the two j/k

Well ... hard to say - I am not the one who knows TOO many languages ... have you been on VibeFM site? Or you know Spanish and thats make you think everyone does?
Anyway, I can define English, German, Russian and (of course!) Ukrainian ... and neither Spanish or Romanian are in the list
Seriously - I was pretty sure (was not lookking on vibefm.RO extension) that Vibe sounds come from South America Since the language was absolutelly unfamiliar Spanish was the first language that come to my mind
