No way it's Armin's choice, he'd go all night. He shut down at Pacha at about 7am last time. PVD also shut down at 5:30ish when he was at Roseland last. Oh well, earlier parties are sometimes good, less drugs

i agree~ he is a great dj dont get me wrong but he doesnt get to do what he wants to do i believe nor has he really been anything of amazing imo last few years. he is still a pioneer and if anyone loves his job its that mofo dont blame him on that one whatsoever he wanted to stay but whoever is in charge kept doing the rush routine.

I find it hilarious that people always say the last time was much better, this time sucked. Tiesto/Armin/PVD was better at poolpark/central park/insert here in 2004/2005/2006 yada yada,. You can look way back at the boards for years and there always seems to be people that think this way! I guess I'm the only one who keep thinking the events keep getting better and better. I thought Armin at pool park this year was the best and I think this party was even better than that! I think this is true especially when it comes to Made Event parties... And I've been going to most of them since the first Central Park with PVD. I am alone on this??

no, my first event was armin @ mccarren. and i thought it couldnt be topped. and this time definitely did. my only complaint this year was pvd @ pier 54, which really sucked. so seeing him @ roseland will prob also be 10x better hah. so no, you're not alone

I agree 100%. But most people in this thread said how great the party was? Thought mccarren was awesome as well but this was def the party of the year for me and the same with my friends. This board is notorious for being uber nostalgic. In a few years todays parties will be viewed as epic and the present parties won't match up. I've been around long enough to see the cycle, its pretty funny.

This party was crazyyyy goooood...everyone had positive energy and was having fun/socializing...I think TW 06 was another excellent party thrown by armin...

but yeah ive noticed how people always say "it wasnt as good as last time..." im more of "wow this was the best party ever"

People is hard to please sometimes

I am actually one of the nostalgic people Everytime I am going to a party I say to myself if tiesto/armin/pvd suck this time i am never coming back to this crap but "just when I thought i was out, THEY PULLED ME BACK IN"

it doesn't matter how mainstream these guys become and how popular they get ...
they always deliver
