wasn't gonna go, but some friends bought me a ticket very last minute...
i haven't seen armin since july and haven't downloaded any of his sets in forever, so imo, he rocked it out!
then again, I had a great spot. Armin finished a little after 6 am, and then jerome isma ae came back on, but I left at that time.

BTW I am not a fan of jerome isma ae. too repetitive, and it took too long for armin to come on.
all in all, i went to this not expecting ANYTHING and had a great time fun party

Armin brought the heat last night, very nice set. Incredible buildups with massive heavy bass-lined breakdowns galore. Also dropped a good amount of techy-trance as well, and set flowed well. He worked the crowd into a frenzy fairly early and never let up. Great vibe and party IMO. I left @ 5:30 and wondered how long he would keep playing. The hour I caught of the opener was good also

Was a really awesome night. This was definitely one of my more favorite sets from Armin and I've probably seen him 15 or so times around the world. Was a bit worried after the Trance Energy set. I lot of new shit was dropped, setting the stage for the 09 season. Jerome was for the most part pretty could building up for Armin, though he kinda lost it for a bit towards the end of hist 1st set. All in all everyone was cool. Cameo put a friggin VIP lounge in the middle of the dance floor which was lame (Not sure if they normally do that, but I am kinds thinking no??) Anyways, not complaining.

Last thing - lets hope this set was recorded and at least we get part of it in a future episode of A State of Trance.

Now, resting up for Armin back in SF next week!

Armin did good but there was something wrong for me there. I think it was it being @ Cameo. Of all the venues I went to I think I disliked Cameo the most especially with it taking the Mansions set up with VIP taking the whole middle dance floor.

I was feeling horribly ill all night Saturday, barely made it out at all but we got there at 2 am and into the club surprisingly easy. I was just so damn tired I couldn't even handle the main room and spent most of the time smacked out on the couch. As for the set, some good stuff but some of the tracks were a little fluffy, he'd play a hard track or two that would just start to get me going and then drop some fluff that had me sitting back down. I'm glad he's coming to SF so I can catch the whole set when I'm feeling better.

BTW cheers to 7 am extension. We still left at 5:15 but it was cool to get 15 minutes of after hours South Beach clubbing.

armins set was....well, lets just say i geuss its time for me to move on down the line or maybe give it another try, but i did not like that kind of trance at all.

This was my fav party, Armin killed it. VIP was packed! everything was crazy, wristbands were essential,it was a great last party...

And again...

We were standing behind this dancing platform, so these two girls would immediately jump on there whenever a club dancer was not on there...they blocked my view, but I managed.
