So, we're on to Monaco. Red Bull will have a double diffuser fitted this weekend too.
What do you guys think about the whole constructors boycott of next season because of the spending cap and two-tier regulations? There's an article posted on autosport.com said that Bernie was nervous about the prospect of Ferrari bailing on F1.
I can sort of understand the sentiment of the teams, but if they signed on to the budget cap, they could operate with more technical freedom so I'm not sure how that's a bad thing. I guess it all comes down to enforcement of the cap but who knows.
Part of me wants to see the teams stick it to Bernie and Max, since I can't stand either of those two senile fucks anymore. I wish they would just go away, and let people with a little bit better grasp of reality run things for F1.
button grabs pole at the end of Q3, exciting stuff! vettel was pretty quick too, only just getting pipped towards the end. webber pretty disappointing in Q3 i thought but it might have something to do with strategy. hopefully he can get podium again and maybe even grab his first win! red bull have been doing great so far

Wow, Vettel is really light!
I could see someone like Nakajima or Buemi sneaking to the top with their longer strategy if the race comes to them a bit.
Should be a good race! Monaco is always a lottery.
Another strong showing from the Brawn team today. Vettel destroyed the stupid super soft tires too early and was left for dead.
The Ferrari's showed good pace, but couldn't gatch up at all.
A pretty processional race but hey, it's Monaco. You gotta watch until the end just in case...
redbull doing well.... good news, because i am tired of mother fucking brawn
and i am tired of mother fucking mclaren being shit.

Vettel is light, 3 stopping ?
w00t, finally BMW in top 10
Interesting race. Great pace by the Prawn cars with race fuel, although Rubens was trying to pass Heiki and Sutil like how I drive GT4 after a few beers
Vettel was pissed at the end when the team told him to not push the car too hard and settle for 3rd.
Good for redbull!....
nice little couple of laps from rubens righting kov.... obviously rubens had lost 7th gear, but it was still cool to watch even though it was for p16 or omsething.
Kubica i thought was going to do better... but he didnt

Not F1 news but I'm heading to LeMans this weekend for the 24 Hours race.
I know Eurosport in Europe will be broadcasting all 24 hours, and I'm pretty sure Speedvision will have it in the US.
www.justin.tv might have coverage online too.
Should be good! I'd like to see Aston Martin taker it in their Gulf-liveried cars but I think it will be another Audi win.

I'll be sure to take tons of pics for you guys
We might even get there in time to see the legends races in the morning which would be cool.
I've watched the legends race, such beautiful cars.
Just got home now. What a crazy weekend. Arrived at the track at 6am Saturday.
I'll sort some of the pics this week.
Stren - We were at the legends race as they exited the pits and out onto the track. I was so close that I was getting hit by exhaust and dust
while we are waiting for ur pics, here are secret photos of the prototypes of the budget-capped cars for the F1 2010 Season:

hahahah! That's awesome. It looks like the chassis from an old Cooper Monaco with Lotus 15 wheels.
FOTA will form a breakaway series
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/76292
you all already know about the breakaway, i say it would be great, but can the teams really put up a new series in 6 months??
we will have to wait and see, and i think that the tteams have just made this move to warn max & bernie that they are serious for the last time
but if thery really do break away, just think of the great tracks the teams can bring back suzuka, canada, even silverstone
and i don't think that much people will still watch F1 after that.
also, the rumor is that BBC will sue bernie if the most attractive teams leave, and break the contract.
I think it would be great if the FOTA teams would really start their own series. Maybe then Max and Bernie would realise that they can't dictate the whole F1 circus by themselves. And I don't think it's gonna be a huge problem for the teams etc. to put together a new series. I mean, there are many tracks they can use across the globe, they can basically race in every continent if they choose so, and so on.
So yeah, I'm looking forward to hearing more from this but whether it's going to really happen or not, don't know...
PS. I have nothing against F1 as a whole, just Max and Bernie acting as dictators.
Vettle looks good for this weekend and I hope he gets win #3 sunday!
can't wait.
So as I mentioned the other week, a couple friends of mine and I went to the 24 Hours of LeMans last weekend. It was a great race with Peugeot finally winning it with their 908's. We drove from Amsterdam, left at 21h00 Friday with a suitcase of beer. Arrived at the track around 06h30 Saturday morning just in time to catch the warmup and Legends race (Stirling Moss was driving one of the legends cars but I didn't get a good pic of that car
)
There's a few pictures:

Priceless 1955 Jaguar D-Type

1959 Lotus 15 that ran in the Legends race

1964 Ferrari 206 Dino that ran in the Legends race

Peugeot 908 HDI FAP

pit straight at night

Front straight into Turn 1 at dawn

Audi R15 TDI - this car finished 3rd overall

Lola Aston Martin - these looked great in the classic Gulf colours
