I probably won't be seeing many of you actually. My brother is being a nazi and not really letting me spend a week in Miami

EVOLVE party on Saturday with DJ Vibe, Marco Carola and Victor Calderone. Anything else I will play by ear...

Shit, really? That's a smart idea, except I don't want to miss many of the DJs playing the DB party. I have to leave that one kinda early cause I want to ensure I get in to the Amenti/Lazy Days party.

So I doubt I'll make it to Body & Soul.

Any possible way to get tix to the beatport pool party saturday?

for peeps who been there: is there a cover after they let a certain amount of ppl in? or there's a lineup so if they have space they let ppl in slowly since its a free party.

I haven't been to one but I know they usually max out with the free people.

The closer it gets i'm thinking i'm going to skip the Body and Soul party as well. Just reading CVS's comments on RA about this party is refreshing and makes me want to experience it at much as possible.

We started planning this party 6 months ago and I have put my heart and soul into it down to the last detail. I will be on the dance floor for all 12 hours with everyone instead of hiding in my hotel room watching tv until my set time. Really, how many label events can you say this about? Everyone on the roster has special edits and new tracks. I can't even wait for this party to start...

And he also has posted the set times already.

The tix are gone.

There's no cover because the trade off is your e-mail/contact information for their database. That's why they want you to sign up.

In the past, when Beatport was smaller, it was possible to fill up information in line and just wait patiently. But now Beatport's blown up, so it will be really hard to get in this party by just waiting. You have to think everyone else is going to do this.

I go every year, but this year tickets went fast. God I love the National Hotel pool parties.

There's no way he's going to make all of those parties. Even if he makes 80% of those parties, I will give him respect, but the reality is everyone crashes and burns one day/night no matter what.

That's why I am apprehensive about buying tickets so in advance. I'll buy tickets to the parties I really want to go to, but not the "filler parties".

I concur.. I have ended up with one set of unused tickets every year.

The most I spent on advance tickets this year is $40.. so I am willing to take the chance that they won't be used.

Looks more and more like it, just need to book a flight. Damn I wish I could somehow make it in for that beatport party, line up looks solid!

From what I've read they DID let people who weren't registered in last year; they just had to register at the door. But don't count on that.

I have no doubt you are a trooper, but take some advice from a veteran. This is going to be my 6th year in a row, and you're going to need a day to crash no matter how hard you are going.

Partying in the sun takes ALOT out of you, especially when you are going from cold in Toronto to the sun of Miami. The first thing I am doing when after I check in my hotel is going to Walgreens and loading up on Gatorade.
