So it really isn't just an easy "snip snip"

No, I still fire live rounds...don't want to mess with the plumbing

My very good friend had it done, and the Dr. nicked a vein and he didn't follow directions AND....oh boy!

...That's why I didn't get it done....unless you can sedate me for a week.

i respect people's rights to do what they want with their bodies, but i find that so sad that men (or women) would want to mess with their plumbing i guess it's no diff from plastic surgery because people feel these changes will improve their life in some way.

i'd rather convince my girl to go on the pill that undergo a permanent surgery! i know it's not 100% effective but if the girl misses her period, then do the plan B or whatever is applicable at that stage of the conception.

I don't know Fahad... there are far more potential risks associated with the pill then with a vasectomy. Also, vasectomies are reversible.

he is right, a C-Section creates way more chances of infections to the mom than the natural way. Some infections may brings complications and things can get worse :/

the wife did it au naturel without epidureal because it was too late for her to have it... anyways, she was in pain, but everything happened so fast that it wasn't that bad after all.

Mrs. Hazard had the epidural... no pain and was back to all her normal activities within 3 days. That said, she had one of the easiest deliveries I've ever heard of... 15 minutes (5 or 6 pushes), one stitch. Pretty much all of her friends with children were jealous.

My experiences with the pill (no, I'm not saying I took it myself..I know you're thinking it )is hormone contraception turns women into psychopaths....I try to stay away from legal drugs

eeech fahad!
first off, plan b only works 72 hours after having sex. you won't know if shes pregnant within that time. plan b is only for cases wear the condom breaks or similar. the pill, while great for many, also comes with a slew of problems...hormone issues being one already mentioned. when you are finished having kids, whats wrong with getting your tubes tied? its not like you are going to have another kid when you are 50. and its probably the best option for women who don't want kids anymore

and its MASSIVELY different from plastic surgery. i don't understand how you can compare the two!

Tubal ligation is a valid option; however, if you're in a monogamous relationship then the man getting a vasectomy is a much better option. Tubal ligation is a very invasive surgery with a much greater risk of infection, excessive bleeding, and much longer recovery time then is a vasectomy. Personally, I'd much rather have my vas deferens cut and clipped then ask Mrs. Hazard to undergo a much more complicated and riskier procedure.

wow thats great!!!

and I thought that the wife did it really fast...

got in at 10:30 pm, by the time they check her out to see if it was delivery time or not... baby poped out at 1:16 am

Posted by nadezhda on Mar-12-2009 15:09:

ah you men are such pussies!

you let the woman go through several hours of labour and all the recovery afterwards and discomfort during pregnancy, and you can't even get the snip? come on!

Posted by Intangible on Mar-12-2009 15:32:

Or you can be like the duggers and let god decide

the 15 minutes was just the delivery... the actual labour was about 12 hours from first contraction to delivery (approximately 7 hours in hospital). The epidural did slow her contractions for a couple of hours.

pretty much nailed it

nevermind issues like the pill isn't even 100% effective (and neither is the condom)

OMG i just found this FREE ABORTION COUPON !!! www.killmybaby.com

The pill is death.
I turned into a f*cking psycho

condoms ... meh

I am thinking of trying this new thing - I have no idea what it's called but the concept is basically like a spermicide in a strip. The girl puts it up her tweetybird, it melts, and for the next 4 hours it lessens the chance of conception by something like 89%

Did you only try one brand

A lot of girls have to experiment with a few brands until they find the right one.

There's also so many options now... the pill, patch, injection, some ring...

This sites actually pretty informative - there's a lot of commercials running for it right now http://www.mybirthcontrol.ca/

I would never risk something if its 89%... might as well just 'pull out'
