I hope WE equal YOUR total titles held after the season is over. I will do everything I can to help MY team do this. My farts from the east coast of the US have some cosmic influence over MY team, I just know it!

ian tries to like hockey, but picked the team with the best player. I will give him credit for following it in a place it is not easy to.

black people from any country like basketball

I have more than caps as teams I like to watch though, i'm not a hardcore fan but do enjoy watching the big O play. Sadly 2 of the other teams I enjoy have drawn each other in the playoffs, calgary & chicago which sucks a bit. It's easy to follow here, there's a reasonable following & we get plenty of live games, just at weird hours to some. I think it helped that I was already a 'hockey' fan as i played it at school and the ice version just adds some awesome bits.

It's a good idea to focus more on other aspects of english grammar than just "we"

In all seriousness, it's always a good idea to learn about the sporting culture. It doesn't make you less of a supporter/fan, but it'll enhance your experience as a spectator.

To be fair, you haven't found me a Brit. You've found a website that could have been written by Nigerian scammers and a Wembley crowd of indeterminate origin. Neither of which can actually talk in this thread about how they view their support of a team.

Your examples make massive assumptions about who the people in question are, who they follow and how they follow them. Hardly the most compelling evidence.

To be fair, you've been quite lazy on checking out the actual site.

Here is the forum: http://www.baseballfan.co.uk/index....iewtopic&t=3344

The chance of people in this forum all being Nigerian Scammers is quite minisucle

Ian likes the Washington Capitals!

so do you, cos the LA kings suck. As a fan of hockey, both ice & field (girls in skirts running around is fun ) then it's obvious in the quality of our home league which is so shit, sheffield are the champions

I'm a Red Wings fan

to be fair the american owner of MY team (in the city in which i live) owns Liverpool.

Posted by bas on Apr-15-2009 19:50:

And I hope he sells to someone that still has money and/or actually gives a shit about winning.

Posted by elFreak on Apr-15-2009 19:52:

that would be bill hicks. He is a dick, Gilette has been nothing but great for the Montreal Canadiens. He does not like hicks either, and he does want to sell liverpool, although the financial losses he has incurred by owning them makes it hard.

Posted by bas on Apr-15-2009 19:52:

I'm well aware of what's going on in the Liverpool world, thanks though

Posted by Damerchi on Apr-15-2009 19:54:

you forgot to say WE .

I love uncle george, and he is the nicest man you will ever meet.

I'll buy Liverpool and run it into the ground. Oh wait...

Believe me, if there's any left-side-driving, colour-with-an-O-spelling, tea-drinking Brit on that forum who's sat there saying "we" as if they live in fucking Brooklyn because they watch baseball coverage at 3am on Channel 5 then I would not hesitate to call them a fucking prat.

Alas, they are not in this thread and more fortunately they are a significant minority of the population: I don't know anyone like that, in real life or on this or any other forum.

i hope green bay can deliver a little more next season. we were a real disappointment last year

but hawthorn were looking good against the roos on the weekend, im fairly confident we'll make the grand final again this year. we're a top team.
