Well i have a half decent reason for the week before, people naturally asume they have the cash for something, so if they dont, and they come to us, then they'll be skint for crasher and cant afford it, but if we have it after, and people overspend at crasher, then it'll be us that suffers, not crasher. as much as we love crasher, this has to be done

take our home, crasher, for example. theres always ppl walkin round with questionaires if they need to find out what the clubber thinks. if ppl ask you to do one you'll do it, fucked or not fucked


also, if they r on pills, they are more likely to be honest about it.

and we need them to be honest, as if we are doin a shit nite we need to be told about it so we can make it better. if people wont answer it during the nite get them at teh end when they are q'in for a coat at the cloakroom

I think also one thing aswell, if it is neo vs jeff at the start, that is gonna be the only different music, coz every1 is just gonna bang out anthem after anthem garunteed, which will be plain boring after a nice proggy set i think i am expecting off jeff and neo seein as neo wants 2 play tears from the moon and beauty never fades. which brings me to my other point, that me and mike would go back 2 back to do a hardset, and gibbo could pair up with dave which i know at least gibbo is prepared to do then more people can play. and neo, mike will play legit cds and vinyl, no cd-rs, only cd-r will be redawn

actually I personally think the kind of market research Calla is talking about is vital to any possible future nights we have, go ahead with it, it does no harm and i think we will gain valuabl;e information, it's not just he boxes that will get ticked, it will help to gauge the mood jsut by wlaking around tlaking to people.

As to Lukes point, I go with that if dave will accept gibbo, it gives every1 whos putting a lot in and who also wants to play the chance then, no1 loses out, and if it goes ok make a rota for who plays when on their own

I've read the 1 and last post of this, and from what I gather, this could be fun.

I'd say taht I'm also available to mix if needed, but I dont think I've had enough exposure to warrant the slighest consideration yet

How far is Leeds from London? (foreigner here, bare with me please)

And how much would the night's entry fee cost?

250miles+ to leeds. Train fair could be as little as �15, with a super dooper mega saver type thing - but probably closer to �50 for the train - coach is cheaper.

Heh, i dont want to play anthem afer anthem. When i have i been known for that?

I wouldnt mind following on from neo and jeffs set.

2 bits of info to add,

A: we have prelim approval for Feb 16th (friday i belive) to do our night at Heaven & Hell, Leeds UK.
now is where i use my charm and skills to get the deal rubber stamped and we are in buisness ! !

B: i was thinking, at all major gigs, events, nights at clubs, those involved wear t-shirts to make them stand out from the public.

I think those that are involved in getting this thing together should have a 'Addiction' t-shirt for the night.
something like UKTA Staff on the back and the logo and Addiction in text across the left breast.
Any other ideas are welcome of course.

OH one more thing, no more requests to DJ at the 1st UKTA night please, i got PM's a plenty and all those that have PMed me so far, you are on the short list to play on the 2nd UKTA night.

I have had enough requests for spots to fill up 12 UKTA nights lol.

good idea about the t-shirts neo, i personally think they should be black as with the logos on as you said,dunno wot everyone else thinks?

How many dj requests u had?
