PDR has tickets pretty much the week of event usually
and PDR all the way too (god, I love living a block away lol)

Posted by lawrenceq on Jul-30-2009 03:46:

I just know that I will be going to it that's all, fun party night for me and friends coming from Windsor. but it keeps saying that there is a "problem processing your request"... i hope that it doesn't charge my card.

Posted by T_ALI on Jul-30-2009 04:31:

I think u should wait...the lineup will probably be released this week

Posted by Mach X on Jul-30-2009 04:39:

Just guestlist that shit and pay at the door, that way you know you're only paying for the people going. You buy extra tickets and someone bails, you're out the money. You think you're saving money buying online or in advance but if any of them go rougue the night of, ur stuck trying to offload an extra ticket.

So it's $40 presale at ticketmaster? Plus you're gonna add taxes, convience charges and whatever other fuckin fees they have. I think paid $50 $60 cash for a ticket last time I went to LOL with guestlist...

Posted by lawrenceq on Jul-30-2009 04:42:

its 47.50 with tax and charge. I would only buy one ticket anyways, too much crap in the past about buying multiples.

tee hee

Posted by Intangible on Jul-30-2009 15:40:

$47! I cant think of a single line up that would make me want to deal with the crowds and pay that price.

Well I can think of a few DJs ... but they would never happen...

2007 was probably my first and last LoL

Posted by Shaya007 on Jul-30-2009 15:51:

Get on th reduced lists and avoid the charges..

Posted by DK Man on Jul-30-2009 15:53:

47$ is nothing compare to Montreal! I just paid 125$ for Tiesto when the tickets are like 60$ in Toronto! Bal en Blanc every year is 100$!
I've been to some great party at Guvernment: LOL, Decadence, Canada Day but few years ago it used to be different!

I agree $40 + charges isnt much compared to other cities... but for toronto its expensive and not worth it. Ill save my money for Anniversary Party, Family Day, Freedom, Canada Day... they always seem to be much more affordable.

I was looking into going to the Lovevolution Afterparty in San Francisco and it starts at $47 + 7 fee and taxes and goes up to $77 + fee and taxes. There is no line up annouced and the price has already moved up to 57. US dollars too

Looking at previous years they party doesnt seem much better than some of all access events (except theve had SOS and Sasha)... I really cant justify it.

When I think of who I saw for $32 at Canada Day I realize we are truly spoiled... and I love it

Posted by lawrenceq on Jul-30-2009 17:00:

47 may be pricey for you guys in toronto, but you guys are lucky and have the opportunity to pick and choose. 47 bucks to me is just fine because we hardly ever go to events like this in Windsor, so even if the line-up isnt that great I'm not going to complain, I will hide in the gallery all night or something.

you guys are getting awesome events in BBR, whatcha complaining about

srsly, I'm so tired of this "you're so special and lucky in Toronto" talk - whatever! these events are becoming so repetitive that there's nothing OH SO special about them anymore

Posted by T_ALI on Jul-30-2009 17:12:

Just got 3 tickets for $45.75 each. If u guys think thats too much but still wanna go then u should get them while u can cause the price will increase.

lol you should be so lucky.. lucky, lucky, lucky...
Seriously though i do love what the lads are doing at boom boom room, they've made a good name for Windsor. But what i was referring to by events is the big all access events that come up often enough for you guys to pick and choose which ones you want to go to or which one's to skip out on, see what I'm saying?

then dont go...

Im tired of people complaining about line ups and saying its the worst ever, not worth the money, etc. and they STILL GO

People keep going so they will keep doing the same thing that works.

Im sorry but toronto is VERY lucky. If LoL doesnt float your boat check out some of the other options... Toronto almost always has a great assortment of parties during the long weekends.

Posted by exstasie on Jul-30-2009 17:28:

I dont' care who's playing...

I'll still be there

I always manage to have a great time at LoL and am not going to let the lineup ruin it...whatever it is.
