other than that, EXCELLENT NIGHT. I loved ronski's set when I only came for Stoneface and terminal. S&T last 30 minutes were killer, precisely what i was going for, and overall i preferred their track selection best all night!! Some monster tunes that night!!

o, and did anyone els see a resemblance to Toad with the dj booth decorations...(at the star of the night not after when everything was to shambles)

I'm not sure who it was but there was 2 guys causing trouble all night. One of them reached over into the DJ Booth while Ronski was turned around and tried to spin the CDJ's. I caught him and should have had him kicked for what he did. According to them the set was pre-recorded. It made me laugh.

The reason we let people get so close to the DJ booth is to give them that intimate feeling between fans & DJ's. We don't like to ruin anyone's night by kicking them out of the club. However, if you are going to come to a club to cause or look for trouble it will not be tolerated.

hey oz... What I have always wondered about Vola is the camera directly pointing on the booth. That could be used for live video streaming. If it was the case then we would have visual evidence who they were and that person would not be allowed ANYWHERE! ahahha

as for the pre-recorded set there was little cliping (probably the speaker you mentioned before). Maybe it will take lots of trial and error to get it right... Levels are off too but it's really great you hear the crowd in there. Maybe a suggestion would to record straight from the mixer and a seperate recording from a mic (i did see a mic but none of the dj's used it for their voices)

I found the sound JUST right I mean my ears rang a bit but I woke up fine no ear plugs needed! that's what I called GOOD sound!

personally for me was first time at vola. loved every minute of it, especially that there was no noobs, like tends to happen a lot @ guv~! plus the whole "underground" vibe

oh man there WERE n00blars but they all were fist pumping and jamming so all good I loved the intimate feel to it - thanks to so many of us being there

the set was recorded directly from the mixer, based on the way I heard it, sounded live mixed to me.

sorry for being bumped in to, i did remember u mouthing something to us... but it was so loud in there that I didnt hear it, and you didnt repeatg it, so i just kept on dancin away.... I have been on enough dance floors, to know that you will get bumped throughout the night... especially when you are dancing front and center...
you cant expect to be right at the front and have a bubble around you, and have no one bump in to you or cross paths...
its a dance floor for all... not just you... if you want more room, move to the back and do spinning helicopters and go wild.....

of almost all the videos posted most people are dancin with their hands up..... so dont accuse me of being some wild dancer, when pretty much everyone had their hands in the air for the trance....

if you have something to say, say at it the club not days later on the message board.... this is unnecessary drama, and not needed for anyone....

Interesting night all around. Music was pretty banging.. enjoyed myself for sure. Ran into someone who I havent seen since i was 14 so that was nuts.

Vola was cool. small intimate but next time around guys coat check has gotta be a lil more sound (I know its pretty bad thats what im complaining about but to be honest, my coat was handed to me and thats why i had to leave prematurely..)
