if they make more or less it does not matter, women are very capable of providing sufficient income to a household.

To everyone who says homosexuality is not natural:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homose...vior_in_animals

Though not considered "homosexuals" due to the fact that they can't study one particular specimen for the length of it's life, they do display homosexual behavior. Some same-sex animals even raise babies together.

Religion, fear, ignorance, and the lack of humility fucked it up for the homosexual community. Wasn't it Jesus who said to love one another? And yet the religious freaks are the ones who spout the most hate.

What a paradox.

Come on now..really? Animals?

If they had a generous thought about making money, cheating on their loved ones, and a dream about driving a Ferrari, I would consider that information valid. Why? Because we, humans, have reason. And that reason is quiet simple. Have sex...but with an opposite sex...so it can all make sense.

And @ your religious aspect. Yea, you got it all figured out. Open the bible buddy. Or any other testament.

Fail.

Oh shit, my bad. I had no idea that's what life was about.

The Bible can suck my ass, marriage is a legal document between two partners, that's it.
If God has a problem with modern society, he should make the effort to call a press conference and say something about it... But seeing as that lazy bastard hasn't done shit in 2000 + years, his opinions matter less than a puddle of cold piss.

And more religions and cultures than Christianity have weddings..so I really don't care if it bothers Christians. Christians bother me more than homosexuals do.

And are you saying, seriously, that gays are not normal? That they aren't allowed to take the step of publically declaring their love and loyalty like Heteros?

Normal, outside of statistics, means acceptable. And we were never talking about statistics.

Do you wish to say that you do not believe homosexuality to be acceptable?

And how about you straight people? What's your divorce rate?

It's time to give up on the fallacy that marriage is for straights, because only you deserve it, or are capable of maintaining its stricture.

It's not your marriage, it's not your business, the Bible is open to many interpretations (I've seen gay marriages done in churches before, and I know some gay churches). People should stop bitching over how they cannot control another's life anymore.

Pretty much sums it up.

I find that people who cite "natural vs. unnatural" as the moral justification for anything whatsoever tend to also have abysmally limited views on just what nature is.

Here's a helpful hint: it's only a word.

It's all fucking ridiculous nonsense. We are all entitled to our own beliefs, no?
If your beliefs differ from mine - that's cool.
You believe in reincarnation and I don't?
I am against abortion and you are pro-choice?
You think of the Quran as holy scripture and I rarely go to church anymore?
I am gay and you think homosexuality is unnatural?
That's cool. I'm sure we can still be friends despite our differences.

It's just amazing that people's inability to deal with their own discomfort, fear, and misunderstanding is still holding back social progress. People truly are stupid, lol.

Posted by Schadenfreude on Jan-27-2010 19:24:

do you put ketchup in the fridge jenny?

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jan-27-2010 19:25:

Fuck no. Ask anyone that's been to my house. It goes in the pantry.

For people who are affected by the passive and "harmless" opinions of voters each and every day of their lives - their equality and benefits as citizens of any given nation in constant question due to something they genuinely feel is "natural" every bit as you think it "unnatural" - it is not merely some debate on an internet forum that can be simply forgotten about once the thread goes stale.

There truly is no such thing as evil - not in my country at least. There is only equal citizenship misappropriated in those who choose to be ignorant when it most expediently confirms their comfort boundaries.

I dunno. I'm not saying shit. But it is peoples opinions that is not so easy to change.

I am the biggest fag hag you will ever meet and if they could marry my friend wouldn't have to leave to Taiwan because of his visa expiring.

what makes you think it's a "moral justification"? maybe it's just an observation, a conclusion based on statistical information, on facts, on logics. you think your view is wider than my "limited" view based on the fact that i accept less things than you? your logic is quite primitive then, imo..

and you, of course, are obviosly the exception, the bright shining example of the opposite. assertive people like you add up to the global idiocy fund. i'd hit your head with my mongoloid head if i could

You know what assertive means, of course?
