Yeah, I was gonna say that like with any medication - it's not effective for everyone. I was even gonna point out that it might not work for smokers like yourself, hah. I'm the same way, so I doubt it would work for me either. Also, fuck taking anti-depressants.

i found cigs and a lighter among my gf's stuff yesterday (we live together)

she was really embarassed when i confronted her about it and lied ("they're my friend's"). after I called her out on her hair smelling like smoke occasionally and the fact that I noticed her new lighter once before she said she'd always had it, she knew finally admitted to having started smoking, but told me that she's disgusted by it and that she wants to stop. Being so embarrassed about it, I don't even know if she told me the actual extent to which she has been smoking, so I'm not sure how difficult it will be for her to quit.

I tossed her cigs and lighter in the trash chute.


gahh.. i've definitely had a few cigarettes in my life (not in years though), but all-in-all the habit disgusts me, and i really don't want my potential baby mama to be sucking on that shit, nor do i want to smell it in her hair and see it on her face and teeth, and above all, I don't want her to feel bad about something that disgusts her as well.

Never been in this situation, but I think I'm doing the right thing, and helping her.

To be honest, I don't think you ARE doing the right thing. She didn't ask you to help her (did she?), and you took it upon yourself to make a choice for her. I would be pissed if someone did that to me. Who are you to decide for someone if/how they want to do something?

I quit smoking regular cigarettes and switched to electronic cigarettes this past March. The vapor juice flavors are so yummy I never switched back. I am currently smoking Dark Chocolate reeses flavor and just finished my last bottle of almond joy. When that runs out I got a bottle of pina colada waiting for me

I got mine last year in Vegas, and found that I can't pull back enough air out of them smoothly like a real smoke. I rarely use it anymore. What brand are are using?

Well she did tell me that she smoked, after she got over her initial embarrassment.

The Joy E-510, the kind that you can drip refill...not the one that takes the unrefillable cartridges (those are not worth it because you end up paying for more in cartridges than you would for buying cigarettes). The cheaper kinds of e-cigs (disposable ones) don't usually work so well and there are also a lot of fakes out there. I paid 80$ for my kit which assembles into 2 full e-cigs.

I also take the insulation (cotton-like stuff) out of the filter which makes for a bigger pull I've noticed that crappy atomizers don't give good pulls. I clean my atomizers regularly because they darker vape juices tend to clog them up. I actually get so much vapor it comes out of my nose before I even get a chance to inhale

Ok here's the plan. You keep buying packs of cigarettes. Instead of opening/smoking them, you mail them up to me. Within a few short days, you'll DEFINITELY have the shits with doing that, and you won't buy any more smokes.

It's a win/win situation!

Next time there's a give a gift to a cor-whore, we definitely should send PKC some smokes.
