Weimaraner? They're known to be a bit...off. My grandfather was a large animal vet (cows mostly) and had one of them that he'd take out to farms with him. He had the dog for like a week, and one time he left the dog in his truck for maybe 10 minutes while he went into a store, and the dog completely tore apart the entire interior of the car. I think they have a reputation of being a little stir crazy.

yes, big time. we're on crate #4, broke out of all the others (flight crates included). Did eat my last memory foam mattress, nearly blew him up...

I've owned quite a few dogs and I can say w/ confidence this is the smartest dog i've ever had and/or been around. Potty trained him entirely in 10 days (weeks 8.5-10), learned to fetch in 3 trips to the park, sit + about 14 commands all before 4 mos old and i could go on. I'm not bragging, this guy is just too smart for his own good and i think that's why he gets in trouble.

Just last week i put this up on my facebook:

just when you thought it was a dead week for weylin news... we dropped off our dog at the vet, got a call 3hrs later with the vet on the other line telling us our dog had managed to lock himself in the waiting area and we wouldn't be able to pick him up until the locksmith came around 1pm.

Coincidence, a friend got a dog yesterday called Lily too!...but a Havanese.

My parents had two Kerry Blue Terriers, both purebred, that were both $1,000+, and both of them developed cancer and had to be put to sleep.

Kerry Blues are awesome dogs! Very jealous!

REAL coincidence: a resident's family member at my work has a Havanese, named LILY. Well they have two, the other one is named Jefferson.

Yes, it's a tri-color.

Here's what they look like fully grown:
