seems like most of the after parties announced are for Saturday ...
I find it odd for PVD doing anything related to Movement.

Currently debating on going for just the Sat/Sun if I can't get Mon/Tues off. Is the pain of having to leave on Sun night greater or less than not going at all?
AHHHHH!

I'm down for checking out a good eatery or two while I'm there, but, like mentioned, the food at the festival ROCKS!! So much to choose from, the vendors are literally scattered all over the grounds and it's made on spot fresh! Nothing like a juicy footlong hotdog slathered with condiments and a boatload of fried onions dripping down your wrists after not eating for 10hrs!!
Detroit eateries I highly recommend:
The Golden Fleece in Greektown
Vincente's (Great cuban food, kind of pricey, but you wont regret it)
Xocimilcos in Mexican town (Great authentic Mexicnan food, with a great price, this is my favorite in Mexican town)
Suppinos Pizza in Eastern Market (Amazing pizza, voted best in detroit Multiple times, they are closed on the weekend though
Nikki's Pizza (Great pizza in greek town, dont fall into the tourist trap that is Pizzapapalis, way over priced and the pizza is subpar for the price
Royal Kabab (Located in Hamtramck technically, but it's like a 5 minute drive from Heart Plaza, and had amazing authentic Middle Eastern food, if you want shwarma, I highly recommend this resturaunt)
For sushi most people are going to say Oslo, but I don't like Oslo, so i'd go to either
Shangra La on cass by Wayne State University (has pretty much the only Dim Sum in Detroit
OR:
Wasabi (Also located by WSU, a great place for sushi and cocktails. Also a plethora of other asain fare to select.
If you guys are at old Miami During the monday, or by that area try
Honest Johns (Amazing breakfast, as well as a variety of vegetarian options, located around the corner from Old Miami, also open on Memorial day, but if you go on memorial day be prepared to wait, unless you get there early. This is the only place open within like a 5 Mile Radius besides like, Coney's.
And of course:
Lafayette Coney Island is a must, if you don't know already, then you need to learn!
If anyone has any questions please let me know.
